It has been revealed that actress Ueto Aya and TBS announcer Azumi Shinichiro will be the hosts for upcoming 'The 55th Kagayaku! Japan Record Awards' that will air live on TBS on December 30th.

This is the second consecutive year for Azumi to host the program, and for Ueto it is the first time in 5 years since she last hosted back in 2008.

As EXILE, the group Ueto's husband HIRO belongs to, is one of the nominees for the grand prize, Japan Record Award, it is expected for the group to appear on the program, and if (although there is no official announcement at this moment) they do, it will be the first public appearance for the couple to make together after their marriage.

Ueto said, "I am honored to be charged with an important duty as the host for such a wonderful stage. Together with Azumi announcer, I will try my hardest."

The winners of the "Japan Record Award" and "Best New Artist" will be announced on 'The 55th Kagayaku! Japan Record Awards' on the 30th.
