If they leave it on PS3 exclusive worldwide, then we'll get it.
But if they think to port the game to the 360, then it will happen the same like in FFXIII <_<

The opera scene from FFVI has been set with actual opera singers and a composition from The Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. Pretty awesome XD

Hey, quite a good version.

Not ashamed to be compared with the famous one in Gran Finale cd or the one in Game Ongaku Concert #04.

Some news for those still waiting for an open beta for FFXIV!
Closed beta will end on August 25th after we do some server stress testing, then open beta will begin in early September!

Just... good luck downloading the GB's needed for the client with the crappy version updater XD

Also 360 version is not ruled out yet, only stalled as long as Microsoft continue to be greedy~

Oh and all 3 cities will be available in the open beta, where in the closed beta, we only got one, and a small area next to it

3rd edit: and if you play the open beta, you'll be able to use that character data in the retail version of the game~

.. my beta characters have already been deleted  and will again before the open beta.

Waiting for FFXIV. Hope I can hang in there better than I did with XI cause my computer sucks. At least, it will be on the PS3.

Okay, so this is how you gain access to the open beta~
The site explains everything on there more or less, but you need to register a Square Enix account, then follow the instructions from there. The site will be open from tomorrow (I think it tells you what time for each region) but you can download the installer now to save yourselves some time (probab.....

lol okay never mind I just got a tweet telling me that the open beta is postponed because of bugs, so I don't know what day it starts, but you can still DL the installer!

I love these hunting missions in XIII XD I just did the first type of mission where if you complete it then a barricade gets taken down and you can explore a new area. That fight was intense! It was great how when you approached it the whole air just turned blue, made me excited. Then I had to fight that Undying Cieth. What I like about these guys is that they all get some kind of introductory cutscene, like the other one I fought previously was flying around before you had to fight it. And it's cool because they're uniquely designed and look really cool. But yes the fight was intense, had to summon Bahumut around halfway and he turned the tide for me luckily. And then I explored that area it unlocked and, chocobos! Lots of them! I had to turn the TV down cause the collective screeching was so loud :nervous But here's a question, how do I get on one? lol I assume there's maybe something you find later in the story progression like gyshall greens or something which I haven't got yet? I see that feather icon on the map, ran up to it, but it just kept running away from me.

Also, is Chapter 11 long? I'm at the point where you follow a flying fal'Cie to it's nest in order to find Vanille's village, but I don't wanna go there if it triggers off something and I can't do any more missions. But then alternatively, there could be more missions to get in that area it's in. It's hard to say, what I'm asking really is, is there any point in that Chapter that says something like 'If you have unfinished business on Pulse then take care of it before you go here'?

I must be the stupidest person who has not played FFXIII yet. Haven't even took the disc out.

I really wish I can find Ai-chan before she graduates so she can sign my copy of the game

Sephiroth is losing to General RAAM in gamespots greatest villain poll. If he loses I know it's gonna break the hearts of FF fanboys all over the world.

Jesus. Part of me likes to think that this is a joke and it's all tongue in cheek, but the other part of me thinks he/she is serious business.

@Tuffty. For the chocobo part. Since I don't remember, I'll have to quote a guide.
You need to complete these missions to ride chocobos: 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 12, 13, and 14.

Since you've done 12, you might've completed most of them already.

Thanks winner! I'm trying to complete all the missions in sequential order, cause I'm weird like that. I've got up to 12, so that's 12 missions in all for me XD

You know how the FFXIV beta was delayed? Well it was announced when it will begin. And it's soon. A few hours even!

Quote
FINAL FANTASY XIV Open Beta Test Will Start on Sep. 1!

We would like to take this opportunity to provide an update regarding FINAL FANTASY XIV Open Beta Test, which was announced to be postponed on Aug. 31, 2010.

Along with the completion on investigation and correction of the critical issue, we have decided to begin FINAL FANTASY XIV Open Beta Test on Sep. 1, 2010 at 19:00 (PDT).

Starting on Sep. 1, 2010 at 19:00 (PDT), acquisition of registration code required for FINAL FANTASY XIV Open Beta Test will be available.

Just note that for players in Europe and Japan, the beta starts tomorrow due to time differences. Man, I wish I had the graphics card to play this! Guess I'll have to rely on Youtube videos to see what it's like.
