キャナァーリ倶楽部 (Canary Club)

The new girl group from TNX: Canary Club, consist of 9 members and split into 2 groups CAN'S (4 members) and A~ries (5 members). The members were selected from 1000 model wannabes from Spacecraft.

Ah I like Ikucchi's profile pic but her look with bikini doesn't impress me.

If you see her blog pictures those are a lot cuter than her bikini pics IMO

One thing I'm not sure is the group A~ries. The official site writes it as あ～りぃず, which reads as A~riizu, is it really A~ries? O_O

And they are going to release a single on 3 May 2007, cover of Tokito Ami's Sweet & Toughness. B side is Yume wo Shinjite.

Well if A~riizu stands for A~ries, then that's it... Kinda like Mooningu Musume is Morning Musume

Hmm, the concept for the group is interesting. Can't wait to hear some of their stuff now!

And just had to share a... really random connection-- Ikucchi reminds me a lot of Nishida Natsumi, one of the 5th gen. MM audition finalists for some reason, especially in her blog pictures:

Somehow the split into two groups reminds me of MM Sakuragumi and Otomegumi...

Ikucchi does look a lot like Nishida Natsumi, probably because of her hair and eyes.

I feel sorry for Ayubee, the rest are all dang 90's kids and shes the cool one born in 1984, but a whole person older then the youngest member in CAN's. -_-

well, ill be looking forward.. i hope they can sing well.. since im so sad why tsunku doesnt make another group from eggs.

It's likely that new EGG groups will be judged from the upcoming H!P newcomers concert.

I'm personally interseted as to how good their singing will be, not that because some of them are gravure idols but Im looking forward to seeing how they sound ^_^

lol im not intersted in gravure but i actually ment to make sure I didn't seem like I thought they would'nt be good because they have gravure idols lol.
Either way, it matches my opinion

the previews of their debut single sounds something what AKB48 could've released!

I'm definitely interested... Tsunku's new company is really coming up fast with groups! LOL Where are you guys already hearing their song, though? I checked CD Japan and they don't have anything on them yet, unless I totally missed it

I'm kinda sad that they didn't get a completly new song as their first single. Their S&T sounds pretty much alike Ami's.

B-side is nice though.
