Based on 4koma manga by Yoshimizu Kagami (美水かがみ).

Having fun in school, doing together homework, cooking and eating, playing videogames, watching anime. All those little things make up the daily life of the anime- and chocolate-loving Izumi Konata and her friends which is portrayed here. Sometimes relaxing but more than often simply funny!

I knew about the manga for a while but never read it. I was just thinking about starting to read it as I really like the crazy cute art

The first episode was pretty lame. The only part that got me was the Konata VS Guile part.

Watching this pretty much reminded me of Azumanga Daioh, but with overly cute moeblobs with an otaku twist. Not exactly worthy of the hype it's receiving but we'll see how it goes.

Hmm, the only reason I chose to watch this was because it was animated by KyoAni and Hirano Aya was in it like in Suzumiya Haruhi

I only watched the first episode so far, but it already seems that the opening dance/screen is a parody of Haruhi as well. I don't really see the charm in it so far (uh, besides the cuteness overload), but I'll follow it at least another episode. BTW, that Lucky Channel thing was crazy. Lol, Berryz Lover?

It was pretty good, but the way the episode flowed I thought works better in manga... I'll see how the next few episodes go. But I think i'd rather read it.

I'm loving lucky star so far, it's completely random and it seems the people at Kyoto Animation is really enjoying this one. The Akira (the idol-like girl reading out mails) skit at the end of each episode is really amusing, I love the way she plays out her 'hidden' character.

It's also the only anime I really keep up with this season (as in, download AND watch) \o/

Eps. 4 is a gem! Love the way they have a dig at themselves for the famous/infamous Nagato reading a book scene (for cost-saving) in Haruhi.

the initial d sequence in ep 6 had me fucken rolling! but the lengthy bath house scene made me really uncomfortable lolz, though it was quite funny. i think this might be the funniest ep so far
