I would love to own one of those.  but it's impossible.... 
Loved gundam and most mecha anime/manga.  loved the robots and mechanical aspect of it.

usually random things entirely covered in some sort of precious jewel/metal turn out to be dazzlingly ugly, but this is actually pretty cool. i wouldn't mind having that sitting in my room in a display case.

Platinum?!  If I were going to own a Gundam, I wouldn't be satisfied with anything less than buckypaper - 10 times lighter than steel but 250 times stronger.  Nothing less would withstand the offensive power of Minovsky particle rifles and all those vulcan pods.
