I think what Aya + Miki said was referring to public baths, which alot of Japanese people do go to and do go with friends. A very common thing.

Oh, I completely agree!  Don't get me wrong, I don't think they really ARE lesbians or even bisexual, it is only part of the act for this particular unit they are in (which is what you're saying too), and it's not even the main part of the act (the legs are - yay!!)...  but it's a really hot part of the act for me.  It's kinda weird how straight guys get turned off by the thought of two guys getting it on together, but many of us love the idea of two girls 'doing it', heh heh!  Oh, and no, if it was true that they were getting it on together, it wouldn't worry me at all - but the same if it's an act, it's still a hot act!

Oh, and believe me, they do, they do...  I've rarely seen anything so beautiful as Miki lovingly feeding Ayaya her breakfast, as lovers do;  and The Kiss...  oh man, I never believed I would see that, even as an act.

UFA were incredibly silent yesterday (Monday) - what's it all mean?  There's speculation over at Hello Online that it could all pass over without comment and things just continue, with Miki being allowed to just have her boyfriend if it's truly not actually in their contracts but only an unwritten thing;  but more likely we're just in the eye of the hurricane, the calm before the storm????

The implications of this revelation for her idol career is so far uncertain, though precedents suggest that she will at the very least have to quit her position as leader of Morning Musume.

well, whatever it is, i hope at least she still stay in H!P.  even though i think she can make it without H!P, but i still like her in H!P better, cuz of GAM if not MM, and her friends in H!P.  they seem good together, don't wanna change that.  if she quits H!P, then re-emerges with another agency, it'll just be awkward between them.  but maybe it's not so bad as i thought, she could probably kept a good relation with H!P.  but i still hope this won't happen...
imo, worst case scenario, she probably resign from MM, then stay with GAM and continue to work with H!P.  i hope this is the case...as mentioned above

Uh-oh...  that one was added to wiki.theppn.org by me, based on the Hello Online reports;  so it's only as good as the info we've got from those reports, which can be found right here.  But, wow, gave me a thrill to be quoted as an 'authority' - even though I'm definitely not!   

I wonder...  the longer UFA delays commenting / taking any action on Miki, can we start to believe that maybe they are planning to weather the storm and let it blow over?  How long did it take before Mari resigned from MM, after her news became public?  Weirdly, her thread on this forum right here started just 5 days before she resigned;  but there's not enough info there on 14th April 2005 to tell when she was "Friday"ed or whatever happened...  anyone got more detail about the timing of all that?  (14th April that year was a Thursday, so either she knew "Friday" would publish a story the next day, or it had happened the week before, or maybe it wasn't even "Friday" that did her in??)

ALSO:  Has anyone heard any news out of Japan about fan reactions to Miki's news - have there been any public destructions of Miki souvenirs / posters / UFA cards etc?  (And did that happen when Mari's thing happened - in other words, can we compare the reactions over the two incidents?)  I had only just discovered H!P when Mari resigned, so I didn't know enough to take notice.

I'm pretty much of the same opinion on that, yokoso, especially if it's what Miki privately wants...  my only worry is that it does leave Momusu a bit in the poo, losing one of their main lead singers as well as their leader.  (Man, it seems that being leader of Momusu is as dangerous as being US President - they are out to get you immediately if they can.  It took them 3 months to get Mari, but only 3 weeks to get Miki.  Yossie must have been untouchable!)

I guess you're all scandal-ed out      I know what you mean, but I do hafta say that I'll be pretty upset if she goes altogether.  Honestly, I just wish the system would let these girls be themselves but there's not much chance of that if it's the wotas who wanna worship mythically pure virgins.  I just wish we could get back to enjoying the girls and their music without all this constant tension...  2007 will go down as the Year of Scandal at H!P and I just hope there's not more to come!

It says that Miki and Aichan have this talk show "Sunshine eco week 2007" on June 8th. The important part is that it says "モーニング娘。 の藤本美貴と高橋愛" which means "Fujimoto Miki and Takahashi Ai from Morning Musume". I guess that means she's staying in the group.
