PIKA'S GIANT POST OF HATEWell not really, I'm probably too lazy, plus a lot of stuff was really too bland to actually HATE, well, some things

The Nintendo pre-E3 stream I missed, but I aint even mad that the classic controller looks a lot like like the 360 one, it's what a lot people have been complaining about, how Wii didn't have a REAL controller (it did, but, never mind) and DURR HOW CAN I PLAY COD ON THIS well, there you go, there's your controller, shut up. Plus it's not like modern controllers haven't been copying old Nintendo and Sega controllers right? how many gamepads are there with Super Famicom button colors? oh of course they switch them around a bit so it's not a copy, of course. Turnabout is fair play!
Microsoft - mostly a failure
I was joking around in IRC before this saying "imagine if it was worse than last years, that can't be true, right?" HAHA oh dear. If anyone really needed some kind of new hardware, it was probably Microsoft, since their console is really showing it's age, well instead we get "Smartglass" which is Microsoft's panicked reaction to last year's reveal of the WiiU, it works mostly in the same way, but I'd really be surprised if it's going to work on apple devices, at least for free anyway, considering they're business rivals, But I did notice some lag.
Also the other big announcement was INTERNET EXPLORER ON 360 wow. They also showed how you could use it on your new SMARTGLASS TABLET, you know, that thing that can browse the internet already, and already has IE or Safari on it already..woop.
When the South Park creators came out and insulted it, it was the best part of the entire conferance, haha.
Last year, Microsoft was Kinect this, Kinect that, and it was totally underwhelming and boring, this year they fixed that by barely showing their wonderous device at all, in fact the only kinect related stuff was all voice commands, making it esssentially a glorified expensive microphone, which the 360 ALREADY HAD FOR FREE BEFORE THE KINECT EVEN CAME OUT.
They did "show" one Kinect motion game, Dance Central 6, by having no-one play it and have Usher come out and do a uncomfortable performance, while the game played in the background.
The actual good stuff of the conferance was mostly 3rd party stuff that'll be on PS3/PC too anyway, plus that surprisingly good looking South Park game. halo 4 had very nice graphics, but it was quite a dull game to watch, same goes for COD, despite all the interest people had.
Ubisoft - success
The thing started out with a dance game, and yet another uncomfy performance from Flo-rida, pretty much the same presentation as the Microsoft one, and then the 2 weirdest hosts ever made the whole presentation really uncomfortable and awkward.
But! in saying that, Ubisoft had some really great games, I didn't really care much for the shooting games, but you can't deny they looked good for the fans who like those games. ACIII looked really good, and Watch Dogs looked really really fun, I was surpised at how open worlded it is, looks like a very fun version of GTA mixed with Deus EX or Syndicate or something, very cool

The wiiU games looked really good (apart from the usual launch shovelware that Ubisoft always brings out, lol) even there seemed to be a lot of British people dying during this
The e-sports thing looked kind of bad, like some kind of Quake 3 mod, haha. The presentation was ridiculous too, aparently all girl gamers must wear tiny hot pants and tight shirts to play games.
Sony - moderate success
I think Sony really wasted a big oppertunity here, Vita is not selling well, just like the 3DS in the beginning, before Nintendo's exciting presentation last year that got everyone interested in it, with lots of amazing new games. Sony did not do this at all, they did show
one big game, an original version of ACIII which does look cool and comes with a white Vita, but apart from that? just games with 'crossplay' with existing PS3 games, or already announced games. Such a waste.
Beyond and Last of US look fantastic, and were the big highlights of Sony's show, along with some 3rd party stuff that Ubisoft and Microsoft showed earlier.
Playstation All-Stars? pfft. They're not even hiding the fact that it's a Smash Bros. clone anymore, the graphics aren't ~bad~ but it all just looks bland, brown, uninteresting... even the logo is similar to Super Mario All-Stars. Not only that, did we get exciting new stages? no. tons of exciting new characters? no.... they announced 2 new characters, and demo'd the same game they've been showing for months, in a really boring demo.
God of War looked cool, but was also a bit dull to sit and watch, but most games of it's type are like that.
