I'll wait my dvd to see it in good condition, but I've just watched HELLO! TO YOU, and it look like it lip-sync too. I hope this concert will not be a wonderful heart land bis, with like 80% of the songs lip-synched.

Yes. I knew it! In the earlier concert, those songs were live, but since it's the bigger venue, I guess they decided to lipsynch them!

EDIT: Ya, the songs were live in the earlier concerts and now they're lipsynched! It's like the Summer WH concert all over again! I'm angry! ><
EDIT2: OK! THIS FUCKING PISSED ME OFF! Furusato is now Koharu/Mittsi featuring Junjun/Linlin instead of Junlin -> Koharu/Mittsi! And it's lipsynched! Koharu and the others sound WAY to good to be singing live. And Onna ni Sachi Are was lipsynched with newly recorded "live" vocals. ><

EDIT 3: Ok, final thoughts. The whole fucking concert is fucking lipsynched. Gawddammit. I think the only live one is Shining Itoshiki Anata. Ya.. MAJOR disappointment. But the eggs sing in Momoiro Kataomoi! <3

Sorry to disappoint all of you, but the concert was not lipsynched. The recording showed on TV, and probably also the DVD, "cleaned up" the sound, in some cases using pre-recorded sound. I know because five of my friends went to that final concert, and I asked all of them and they tell me that the concert was live except for two or three songs. And these are five different people that were on different sections of the venue during the concert.

That means the TV version is completely pre-recorded sound then? I mean, I have a good ear and eye for lipsynching, and the TV version seems pretty lipsynched to me. I mean Momoiro no Kataomoi was definately lipsynched. And in the Momusu songs, all of the sounds too good to be live. It would be too much work to insert pre-recorded audio to all of them wouldn't it? It's just so far, I don't know what to believe. Heh

Anyone have the final day concert audio rip? Just for reference? ^_^

EDIT: Well I know that for sure that Souda is lipsynched! Berryz and C-ute have fake handsets!

Well, first you're watching a file that was uploaded to Youtube, which means it had to be reencoded and it may have lost some synch between sound and image. Second, there's the possibility that when they edited the footage for broadcast, and "cleaned" the audio, some synch was lost there too. And I don't think they used all pre-recorded audio, I think they just went too far in the digital processing of the audio source, giving the impression that some of it doesn't belong (it happened to us several times when I was assistant producer on a show here). But I'll wait until a high quality version of the TV broadcast is available for download to check it.

^ I for one think that at least Narihajimeta Koi no Bell wasn't lipsynch-ed. There's slight differences from the recorded version (and most likely a pre-recorded concert version, if it exists) that make it a live version. Unfortunately, because it's been edited, the echo from the concert is lost, thus losing proof of them actually singing..

In any case, I've only seen the Narihajimeta Koi no Bell part on Youtube and I admit, it's quite well sung, considering all the high notes that are present in the song. And it's amusing how Yoshizawa keeps pointing out Konkon during the MC segment =D She knows the worth of Konno Asami!

I'm just saying that even if I had the actual rip (dling it off share ATM), I would still be able to tell the difference from live and studio recorded vocals.

First of all, if it sounds too good to be live, no heavy breathing, no indication of any trouble during singing, or the way they're singing doesn't match the audio, then I come to the conclusion that it was lipsynched or patched onto the finished product. Live vocals sound like the person is giving their all and you can feel the power they put into it. It also involves yelling when you can't hit those high notes either. Good examples of this are the Momoiro Kataomoi perf in the concert. Sayumi's live and studio recorded vocals differ. Her live vocals are more powerful where her studio vocals are really soft and more cutesy. You can tell the difference. On the other hand, Aichan's vocals are hard to pick out because her voice is more solid.

The way I see it, I'm not going to force you to believe the vocals are lipsynched, I'm stating my opinion.

I understand that. I was trying to say that the concert broascasted on TV was completely lipsynched. I wasn't trying to say that the actual concert wasn't, just that the version shown on TV and some songs from what I've noticed were lipsynched.

Kooru, I kind of understand what you're saying, but I think "lipsynched" is a poor choice of words. Not noticing any heavy breathing, power in the singing, or that it sounds "too good to be live" is because the broadcast/DVD versions are edited and cleaned up to sound more professional for a finished product, which in my opinion sounds better than an untouched live version. I watched some of the youtube clips, and to me they don't sound lipsynched. It definitely sounds live but edited and cleaned up. The audio out of sync is probably because of youtube.

sasshi's got the 4 gig MPEG rip up on H!O, but I'd like to ask if TBS is a HD channel and if the concert was even broadcast in HD? Because if it was broadcast in HD, I'm going to wait for the 10-15 gig TS file

Concerts are rarely "lipsynched" these days. They do tend to hide their breathing behind pre-recorded vocals, though.
