It's pop-rock, sorta like Avril but with a Japanese/anime flare.

i listened to her album and is good stuff... well is more pop that anything but it fits with her idol aura

btw i'm watching the anime of haruhi (quiet late but nvm) and her voice is <3 love it maybe i can compare it with Koharu's voice in kirarin... but i wont

I listened to Riot Girl today and it's surprisingly good. Aya's pop songs are nothing special but I'm definitely feelin' her rock songs. 'LOVE GUN' is awesome and 'Harmonia Vita' sounds pretty fucking epic. It's cool that she's doing rock instead of anime songs or cheesy pop shit

Edit: Holy shit! I just realized that Maybe I Can't Good-bye is in English. I can barely understand what she's saying but the song is still fucking awesome

I'm really into Hirano lately. I'm listening to the album non stop. This music is right up my alley, high energy rock/punk style songs. Her voice is killer.

I also found the Suzumiya Haruhi no gekisou live event, where she sings live and plays guitar. Epic outfits, good vocals and when she bursted into tears near the end, it made me love her more even more <3

About the calendar pic, I read somewhere that she's wearing the bra upside down

I wonder if she did that on purpose..

i'm listening to riot girl right now, and tbh i was expecting her singing voice to be more similar to charmy's or something (the only times i've heard her speak was some youtube clip where she was speaking porteguese or something, and she had a cute little voice like rika)...the album's pretty good, alot better than i expected that's for sure...

Sadly, no Haruhi related songs, with the exception of 'bouken desho desho', which was to be expected. I think it's a missed opportunity not to include 'god knows', 'lost my music', 'hare hare yukai' etc etc. Perhaps she wants to break free from all the haruhi stuff. Or perhaps they are worried it'll kill the sales of the haruhi no gekisou dvd..

I'm still exited though, there are plenty killer songs in there.
