Powerful earthquake in Peru kills 450

A powerful 7.9-magnitude earthquake shook Peru's coast near the capital, killing at least 337 people and injuring more 827 others, the Civil Defense said early Thursday.



EDIT: The death toll rose to 450 on Thursday in the magnitude-8 earthquake that devastated cities of adobe and brick in Peru's southern desert. Survivors wearing blankets walked like ghosts through the ruins.

The worst is that the earthquake was in the 'poor' side, wich means the houses were not made with the same material as the houses from here or any other place. That's why I've heard from the news wich is terrible T_T
