they're gonna reuse a song from the album as an a-side?
so im guessing its gonna be different lyrics, but on this Koharu replaces Rika, Yaguchi, and Kaori.

ok.. Chokkan isnt a bad song.. but wtf.

If it was the same lyrics, why would be be called 2? If I'm not mistaken, it'd be called a remix, then. That was my reasoning for it being different lyrics~

Who cares. Chokkan sucked. The b-side sucked. Unless there is damn good cover art and photocards, I'm cancelling my order. Besides, then I don't have to wait another two freaking weeks for my Biyuuden album and Yuko single to arrive.

Chokkan 2? When I first read that I thought "What was the first Chokkan?" Then I went back and listened to it and remembered it's the song I always skip. I never could get into it.

Why couldn't they have picked Dokusenyoku?

dissapointing news and I don't really like "Chokkan", but what can we do now?

I just HOPE a good PV will accompany it at least, as well as a good 1st press version of the single. now, if MM were still hugely popular/supported ("Love Machine"-era for example) then fans would most likely not mind buying a re-make of a song previously released...thing is, MM is a sinking ship as of now.

Chokkan was alright... The only reason it's driving me nuts is because of the "souda souda!" in the background. Beats me why Tsunku didn't choose Dokusenyoku.

I bet this is one of his gambles, seeing how far the fans will go for the girls'. I wonder, though. Since they switched a-side, and PVs are shot around 1-2 months in advance, will they include 2 PVs then?

Up Front must have a LOT of confidence in this song to make this the last Musume single for the year.

However... I dunno, it's not like "Dance Surunoda" (the song that really SHOULD have been a single) or "Tanpopo" (a song that WAS, and good for them for doing so).

Of all the great Musume album tracks since '98, would "Chokan" be in the top five? Top ten? Those are the songs that should become singles and I'm still not convinced that this song qualifies.

Wtf xD Key changes? I guess Tsunku is still in the mood for them after Diva.

The song is more rockish, but pretty much the same song... with different lyrics and a different key. Sayumi sounds REALLY good in it as well as Koharu in the two lines before the song ends that they have. I like the album track better, so far ^^;;

I like the song. The lyrics are a little different though, and I think the music is a little different, but I'm not sure if that's just because of the quality. I'm still gonna get this single cause I like both songs.
