It's out on the 24th September. For some reason I thought it was later.

Do I pre-order it or try to buy it whilst I'm in Japan???

Buying it while in Japan would definitely save you some money since there won't be shipping costs.

Very true but I'm not sure what these things are like when they go on sale in the shops. Do they sell out quickly???

Mm, I dunno if they sell out quickly or not, but I'd get it in Japan if I were you too.

Considering then you wouldn't have to pay S&H and wait for it to be shipped to you

Definitely try to pick it up in japan. Pre-order if possible. Photo books actually sell out sometimes. It will save on shipping, and you will not have a delay for it being shipped.
