A 65-year-old woman who went into a Farmington supermarket to buy wine was turned away because she didn't have an ID with her. But Barbara Skapa of Mount Vernon says that won't happen again. "I'll be bringing my driver's license with me from now on," Skapa said

Gotta laugh at this, even though I can understand stores having and enforcing their policies.
I mean damn, I'm a few years shy of the big 4 0, which is still a surprise to me.
If I go to a store to, say, buy beer, I know that I would get carded, because I don't look my age, even to this day.

I don't find this surprising at all anymore. Most of the stores I go to now have policies that require all sales of alcohol or cigs to require ID ever since most cashiers keep getting caught selling to minors. AKA "We ID Everyone"
