Only 1GB and they're selling them for that price? Do they actually expect people to buy them when there are other, similarly priced music players that give you much more storage capacity?

Well, the rest of them don't dance  But I agree that they could have added more capacity.

Well, if Apple got away selling the iPhone when there are pretty good alternatives (from LG, for instance) that, hold your breath, are not bound to a single carrier, why wouldn't Sony get away with this?

If it only cost 50 bucks then maybe it'd be ok. But it's listed as being 40 000 yen, which is closer to $350USD/$400 CDN. Unless someone has a lot of disposable cash and/or an obsession for little dancing objects, it's not worth it (actually, for only 1GB of storage space it isn't worth it any way you look at it).

Guys/Gals remember: this is a *gadget*, not a music player you used to store your whole music collection on and take it with you.

You put just a few songs on and demonstrate it, after a few minutes people have seen enough (and the cat can use it )
