The wife brought me home melody.'s "Love Story" poster today...

The record store keeps giving out free posters, the wife keeps bringing them home, and I keep putting 'em in the closet, cause I'm not into posters...

The poster is pretty nice though... Nice and glossy, plus melody. is a hottie... But it's still staying in the closet..

melody. announces retirement

Singer melody. has suddenly announced on her official blog that she will be retiring as a music artist this January. Instead, she will be pursuing another one of her dreams, which is to become a designer of Western-style clothes.

The 26-year-old singer made her major label debut in 2003. Since then, she has released 11 singles and 4 albums, plus a best album that came out earlier this month.

Biographie:
melody. was born and raised in Hawaii, though she has a lot of family in Okinawa. She started vocal training, piano playing and hip-hop and jazz dance from an early age. Her break was in 1998 when she started modeling at 16. It wasn't until 2003 that she finally made her debut in the music charts, with the single Dreamin' Away. She has since released a few more singles as well as her debut album Sincerely. Her American influenced upbringing is evident in her music, not least of all the songs are entirely in English (her single Believe Me was released in both Japanese and English versions). However, melody.'s light and airy voice complements both the upbeat and ballad numbers, making for easy and rather enjoyable listening.

Ah =o. I never knew any of that about her. I think I have a couple of songs of hers. I know for sure I have one with her and m-flo. I like her  . Her bio kinda reminds me of Coconut's Musume Ayaka.
