But no matter what..... Go! Go! MoMusu~!   Ganbare ne~! aim for #1!
Well, as said before, Otsuka Ai doesn't sell well when singing as LOVE (and that's the single that comes out that day, a LOVE single), and TOKIO is not selling well lately, so that leaves EXILE and KAT-TUN. I guess at least they will keep their TOP 5 record (every single by MM has been on the TOP 5, the most by any female group).

i also just realize that 11/21 falls on a Wednesday.  why would they release on a Wednesday, in the middle of the week?  wouldn't releasing on a Tuesday or Monday may be better for chance of better sales?

Releases are always on a Wednesday, officially anyway. Usually the singles start selling in the stores on the Tuesday, hence the first daily rankings for that day. Btw, for the weekly charts the week starts on Monday, so they're missing only day. This doesn't effect the weekly charts very much usually.

When the Morning Musume single was announced many other releases were already known, including TOKIO's (which is now moved), but KAT-TUN's release was announced after that.

Well I damn well hope they make it to the top this week, this definately ain't my fave MM single by a long way but the competition they have...ergh. I can't stand KAT-TUN and and EXILE, whereas Otsuka Ai has gone to shit in the past year.

I think that because of all the MM 10th anniversary boxes they've been releasing, the Mikan sales will be somewhat lower because of it. I was gonna buy it, but I'd rather have the MM all videoclips box.. I have to be carefull with spending money, so I won't get both. It could be the same for some other people.

KAT-TUN are going to wipe the floor. MM honestly don't stand a chance against them. Last year they got 1# from all singles in the entire year with their debut single, their second got something like #5 over the entire year too... and their third was in the top fifteen somewhere, only because it has only been relased a few weeks before the Oricon counted to singles for the yearly charts. Their concerts sell out so quickly, their members are everywhere on television.. I hate to say it, but MM are royally screwed.

DAMN YOU JOHNNY. I bet money he changed the date on purpose, just to spite Tsunku.

That's probably why JE pushed Tokio's forward, because to be honest KAT-TUN is currently much more popular than Tokio.

Yep. Changing the release date two days after is cheap. I remember, maybe a year or two ago, when H!P and maybe Avex (or JE) kept constantly changing the release dates one after another LOL I guess H!P doesn't care by now, they know they have a loyal fanbase and it's not like they're trying to go beyond it, so even if all JE would release that day, I'm pretty sure MM would get their 50K.

from the list of things, it sounds like most entertainment companys are out to get each other and pitting their artists against each other.

i did remember reading somewhere on JPH!P forums that some big labels, i.e. johnny's and AVEX mostly target H!P/UFA in the past by waiting for UFA to announce their release date and then announce theirs to be release on the same day...

That some rivalry between them and UFA. 

something i like to mention though....  Most of the singles from AVEX and Johnny's released around the same time as H!P are mostly tied-up to CMs, Doramas, etc. while MM doesn't have tie-up singles, from what i know.  yet they were still able to be ranked with the top 10, even in the top 5.   but on the other hand, i guess without the tie-up, that why they sell less compared to others...
 
i dunno if that's consider a good or bad thing....  :?

from what I know if you order from amazon.jp it will still count, but Yesasia is not counted

correct me if I'm wrong though..
