Got my Ver. A (DVD) and Ver. B (PB) of this single today, and I'm so loving the photoshoot for this, some really great shots from the mix of the girls. Glad I went for 2 versions, and got a Sayu (which will soon be a Risa) and Junjun.

And it's sad this single is dropping places, as it is really good, both tracks are wonderful songs. Good to see it at least ranking in the top 10.

For Oricon weekly chart, I don't think HSJ on their second week would be able to beat Mikan's first week sales and Ginnan Boyz sales on their first day should be a lot less than MM's first day, so I reckon 5th is still possible depending on the rests of the week, and hope they don't fall back any further.

but they are up against some strong competition....
hope with all my heart the rank will rise (what matters is the first weeks sales rite? not daily). i know that not all cd sales are counted and also popularity can't sometimes be equaled to sales figure... but MoMusu have been keeping an unbeatable record (all singles ranked in the top 10 in the first week) as well as several others. i just really want them to continue on with this records.

Tbh I'm not surprised to see the song slipping, regardless of the competition. Don't get me wrong I like the new song but it is much more "generic" than a lot of their stuff, like was said by plenty of people when the song was first heard it realyl does sound like an anime theme and damn that was the wrong way to go...

^ i actually agree, i do like the song, but it's does feel different from their earlier singles. i don't know what u mean by *generic* but i do understand about the anime theme song thing. it's like cartoony or something, like for little kids and stuff. not like tsunku's usual work. but i think he's trying something new with this single. and it is good to experiment with music, it just.... hmm i dunno

but still, i don't it would as successful as the other previous singles of the year, but i don't want them to stop their record now with this one.

^ Well this is just down to my opinion but I reckon a lot of pop songs used as anime themes are pretty similar; I'd consider Momosu to have varied styles between songs and that's one fo the main things that set them apart from other pop bands but Mikan could well be a song by plenty of other girl groups in Japan...that's what I reckon anyway.

I think only certain sites actually count towards the ranking when you buy from them (like Amazon Japan?). So if you bought from CDJAPAN, for example, no matter how many copies you buy, it won't affect the ranking.

(Unless you buy from Amazon, of course)
