Just got my copy of Mikan last night and argh! I got a Michishige card.

Good news with the sales ranking! I was impressed with their appearance in Utaban, I wasn't going to watch from the previous treatments they've had but I heard positive things so I decided to watch.

If they want a more "strong" flavor then they should keep talking to Sayumi and LinLin, and then maybe Eri, JunJun, Risa, Reina. Sayu has a really good comedic sense, and LinLin just says things that are perfect without really knowing.
Eri is totally spaced-out but still talkative, which is a great combination, and JunJun still comes out with random Chinese from time to time.
I still think LinLin's line when they explained the Johnson name was just GOLD, from the ONSA appearance with OG.

Reina and Sayumi were like "what the hell ??" when they got the lyrics of "Mikan" but they can't find the word "Mikan" in any part of the song

Dylan and Catherine were better in all the other parts of the show, especially with KAT-TUN since Kazuya had a chance to show his spot-on impersonations of Dylan. I also loved the Kuroyanagi Tetsuko monomane that the comedian who plays Catherine did. Does anyone happen to know her real name? I've loved just about everything I've ever seen her do.

Anyhow, I wonder if current Morning Musume will ever get the chance to have a talk segment on Utaban without a comedian coming in or a game being played to spice things up. I know that it's done with almost all the other guests that come on Utaban, but at least it's not so one-sided with them. I'm not holding my breath or anything, but I think a solo talk segment should be given a shot, cause they really haven't had the chance their senpais did to shine. Either the guests that come on with current MoMusu are stealing their "thunder", so to speak, or they really aren't entertaining on their own at all, but I'd like to see it either way.

The problem with current utaban is the time they schedule for each artist.. In the older shows you would have 30-50 minutes of Morning Musume.. now it's just 10-15 minutes..

Oricon Weekly Chart update: Morning Musume are 28^th this week with 5,102 copies sold. Total is now 33,184 sold.

Just remember DEF.DIVA getting to number 1 with about 12.000 copies sold.

I guess some times of the year are not to good for sales...

DEF.DIVA sold 26,353 in the first week and got number 1. Not as low as 12K but lower than the first week of Mikan.

Btw, TOKIO got number 1 this week with 'only' 46,283 sold. The same amount would've reached to number 5 only last week. It really depends on how strong the competition is in a certain what ranking a single will get.

2 week sales is even lower than previous lowest 1st week sales single (which is sexy boy, 36,531)
