CAMBRIDGE, Massachusetts -- Mayu Yamamoto, a Japanese researcher who developed a way to extract a vanilla fragrance and flavor from cow dung, has been awarded an Ig Nobel Prize for her efforts.

You're not eating shit, you're eating the same flavoring you would get on many vanilla flavored products. It's not that different than artificial flavoring, but this is actually sorta natural and recycled
