There's a new article over at H!O talking about some of the things we've been discussing here. I still don't understand why H!O (well just the article writers) are being a little 'secretive' about the Maki info.It's not like Maki and her ppl are going to hunt them or us down if it's revealed..could they?   I'm not trying to bash them because I'm over at H!O too, and it's a nice place. I'm still sensing a certain someone has something to do with this.. ,o well, I'm still waiting for offical news from Maki and her ppl.

That's what I don't understand too. I mean, you could give us the password to the exclusive Goto Maki club where only super elite members/stalkers of Goto and those who personally know her can join and tell us that's where you got your info and most of us still wouldn't be able to do anything about it, we'd just want REAL news.

Tabloids are having a party up until now because of Goto's graduation, because they can come up with all kinds of stories about "why" she left. Typical tabloid nature, people. With her graduation came questions which they were so willing to "answer".

One thing that makes doinkies skeptical about H!O's report is that they said that Ai immediately left Korea by herself to see Maki's concert when she heard the news. Here's what reyfer said in the comments at H!O:

1 - If what Maki and UFA said in the OFFICIAL statement is true, she was planning this for a while, and she surely told Koha and Gaki-san as members of 10nen Kinentai, so Aichan already knew.

2 - Aichan and Koha and Gaki-san were in Korea on the first official promotional tour by MM on that country, with a schedule prepared weeks in advance, so it would have been irresponsible of MM's leader to fly away and leave her co-members alone, and also a disrespect for the Korean fans and hosts.

3 - They had a last radio interview before getting on the plane that flew back ALL THREE OF THEM on the 28th AS SCHEDULED, arriving in Japan with plenty of time to attend the concert. So no need to leave all and take a plane on her own.

I pretty much agree with reyfer here...if Ai had gone away by herself, UFA would definitely be upset at her for leaving Risa and Koharu alone and abandoning her schedule/disrespecting the Korean fans.

But really, I just find it completely stupid to not reveal the source of your news and try to say "it's a seeeekrit!1111!" like ninjas are going to come after you if you reveal the name of the "Japanese community". At least give us some hints as to the nature of the community, like, is it a message board? An SNS community? Do people from UFA post there? Do close friends of H!P members post there? etc.

Man, I've been fighting against the urge to write this, but I just can't hold it back anymore, lol

Does anyone remember that Goto's family has or used to have a restaurant where ordinary people, yes even fans, could go to dine and talk to the family members or (if they were lucky) even Maki? I first heard about it in 2004 when Time Bokan wrote at jpop.com that he had seen Maki there, and I've heard other stories about it since.

I'm just saying...

Because of this, I believe the source that H!O has... Maki seems to be the easiest H!P member to have a 'secret' source on because of the history of her family running a restaurant, and fans frequenting there. And about people having to prove it... How on earth could they possibly do that?? If I knew a H!P member personally I wouldn't go disturbing their privacy any more than needed (by taking pics of places where we met or pics of us together. That would be so disrespectful, not to mention the agency doesn't allow the girls to take pics with fans, no matter how close they were with her!). It's just that this piece of info has to do with her career, so these fans who know something want to inform the others, too. And I hope that in the future they will continue to do this because I sure am curious to hear it. I also don't believe they have any reason to lie about something like this. (I mean the parts about her not being signed with any other company yet, and having planned quitting since summer, and doing it because of other reasons than her brother or some 'boyfriend')

And I think it's a well-known thing that the bigger the company, the more they can afford to be assholes to their employees. Just look at WWE. They've had fricking half their main cast injured during the past year, but people still come to their shows. So why should they stop overworking their employees? What they're doing is clearly working for them! Of course we don't know what happens behind the curtain in UFA, but I don't really have a reason to think it's any prettier than anywhere else in entertainment industry. I mean if you really think about it, Maki quitting isn't going to change anything. There will still be like 40+ girls in H!P concerts. If Maki's not bringing in the money, they'll find some other way to make it.


What I don't believe is that Maki hasn't had any plastic surgery on her breasts. But that's a whole other story

In the end, "why" she graduated isn't that important for me as where she's going to go now. As I said before, she just wasn't fitting H!P's style anymore and she wanted out for 'creative differences' with UFA (which she's had for a long while already), whether that's the reason or one of them.

Now, I just want to know where she'll be heading, her plans.

I wanna believe H!O, I mean, I guess it's just the way they wrote their article, y'now. I mean if it's true, then state it with confidence. Stuff like "we decided to reveal some stuff, and others along that line is confusing me a bit. If they knew that stuff around the time she graduated H!P, they should have put it there right away.

Of course by doing that they are putting themselves out there to people not believing them. I don't think its so much that they have to keep quiet so we don't track 'the almighty source' down, but more they are trying to keep a level of trust and respect with whatever place it is they get the info... On that note, H!O's report does seem weird and awkward to me with the 'new' information so I'm just taking it all with a grain of salt for now coz its too confusing and i am blond after all

I agree, i think for the most part, why she left is kinda clear but knowing how long we will have to wait to have her back and where she will be is the important thing.

But I think he doesn't understand our point of view on the matter. The fact that how does ANYONE get to regularly meet their favourite idol is probabably way to much for all of us to handle, hence the immediate disbelief.
But it's ok, nobody has to believe anything and I won't try to convince anybody.

I do not have a problem with 'Sukeban Deka' knowing Maki 'personally' or meeting her or what ever, it is the writing style that doesn't come over as factual and trustworthy.

yeah i also think this is the most important thing. we all just want to know if she's ok and when she's coming back to do all the stuff we love to watch her do, lol. like lots of other people have said, i just wish she could just come out and say it.
