    * Billy Idol - "Dancing With Myself"
    * Brand New - "Sowing Season (Yeah)"
    * Bush - "Comedown"
    * The Derek Trucks Band - "Younk Funk"
    * Duran Duran - "Hungry Like The Wolf"
    * Eagles Of Death Metal - "Wannabe In L.A."
    * Gorillaz - "Feel Good Inc."
    * Gov't Mule - "Streamline Woman"
    * Grand Funk Railroad - "We're An American Band"
    * Iron Maiden - "2 Minutes To Midnight"
    * King Crimson - "21st Century Schizoid Man"
    * No Doubt - "Ex-Girlfriend"
    * Peter Frampton - "Do You Feel Like We Do? (Live)"
    * Public Enemy Featuring Zakk Wylde - "Bring the Noise 20XX"
    * Rush - "The Spirit Of Radio (Live)"
    * Scars On Broadway - "They Say"
    * Smashing Pumpkins - "Bullet With Butterfly Wings"

    * The Duke Spirit - "Send A Little Love Token"
    * Elliott Smith - "L.A."
    * Elton John - "Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting)"
    * Face To Face - "Disconnected"
    * Garbage - "Only Happy When It Rains"
    * Iggy Pop - "Lust For Life (Live)"

    * My Morning Jacket - "One Big Holiday"
    * Nirvana - "Lithium (Live)"
    * The Police - "So Lonely"
    * Queens Of The Stone Age - "Make It Wit Chu"
    * Rammstein - "Du Hast"
    * The Rolling Stones - "Sympathy For The Devil"
    * Rose Hill Drive - "Sneak Out"
    * Santana - "No One To Depend On (Live)"
    * Screaming Trees - "Nearly Lost You"
    * Sonic Youth - "Incinerate"
    * Sublime - "What I Got"
    * The Sword - "Maiden, Mother & Crone"
    * Thin Lizzy - "Jailbreak"
    * Thrice - "Deadbolt"
    * Tom Petty - "Runnin' Down A Dream"
    * Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers - "American Girl"
    * Vampire Weekend - "A-Punk"
    * The White Stripes - "Blue Orchid"
    * Wolfmother - "Back Round"

Not sure if there's more tracks to be revealed but even with this, I think it's probably the weakest setlist yet.  'Jailbreak', '2 Minutes To Midnight' great stuff, and it undoubtedly has great bands in there, but it's just a poor choice of songs for the most part. Love QOTSA but I can think of better songs for the game than 'Make It With Chu'. I wanted the Eagles Of Death Metal for a long time but 'Wannabe In LA' isn't a great choice either, surely 'Speaking In Tongues' is a better choice?

Also, boo Neversoft/Activision for not making GH:WT DLC compatible with GH:Metallica. I'd love to play the new EODM pack but it won't play with GH:Metallica. :banghead:

Oh shit! Thrice - Deadbolt. :lol: That shit came out of nowhere.

Looks like a solid setlist. Great variety of tracks.

Don't know if I'll be getting it though. Gonna wait for some reviews on the actual gameplay and have tried the equipment. Haven't gotten one of these types of games since the first Rock Band. Still don't like the fat square necks on the guitar hero guitars, it cramps my hand after a while.

Even though I've been more into Rock Band that song list does look pretty good. Do You Feel Like We Do Live would be kick ass if it's the version that's like, 15 min long. :w00t:

Last 15 tracks to make the final setlist:

Quote
    * 3 Doors Down - "Kryptonite"
    * Arctic Monkeys - "Brianstorm"
    * Blink-182 - "The Rock Show"
    * Dire Straits - "Sultans Of Swing"
    * Jimmy Eat World - "Bleed American"
    * Johnny Cash - "Ring Of Fire"
    * Megadeth - "Sweating Bullets"
    * Mötley Crüe - "Looks That Kill"
    * Muse - "Plug In Baby"
    * Nirvana - "Smells Like Teen Spirit"
    * Queen & David Bowie - "Under Pressure"
    * Stevie Wonder - "Superstition"
    * The Killers - "All The Pretty Faces"
    * The Raconteurs - "Steady As She Goes"
    * TV On The Radio - "Wolf Like Me"

Ok quite a good list looking at it. Superstition would be good, as would Ring Of Fire. Smells Like Teen Spirit finally arriving too.

As well as that, they announced the inclusion of another super rocker in the game. Shirley Manson. Better than Haley Williams any day of the week! :D

I'm from USA, I want to buy either Guitar Hero or Rock Band for the Wii, maybe for the PS3 also if I'm gonna get it.
But what I really want to know is if there is a version with j-pop/j-rock songs.  Can I even add songs to it, like downloaded on the website or just upload an mp3s?

You can't make you own songs sadly - though some people have hacked the PC version to do that. There isn't a j-pop/rock version out, though it is a cool idea.

If you're torn between Wii or PS3, go with the PS3 as it has better sound.

The Music Studio feature first found in World Tour allows you to create your own simplistic tracks to upload and play along to. You usually see some people's attempts at covering J-Rock on there. The best one I've seen is Simple and Clean by Utada Hikaru

Simple And Clean

But again, it should not be considered a substitute for the real thing.

anyone remember my GH J-Rock setlist i made a couple years ago? i still dream of that... its a few pages back, you should check it out for shits & giggles lol

EDIT
lol went back and looked at it myself, i still think its a damn good setlist... i think i'll dick around this week and make a GH: J-Rock 2 setlist lol (still formatted like the old GH games and not like world tour)

found this on youtube

[Guitar Hero Anime] "God Knows" - Aya Hirano 【『God Knows』平野 綾】

what is this exactly, Guitar Hero Anime?  is there really such a thing?
like i said before, I'd rather have a japanese version of Guitar hero/Rock band, this is cool, too. since there are alot of great anime songs to rock to.

UPDATE:  nevermind I think it's a custom-made thing, but I wonder how they do it.  There are videos on youtube with japanese songs on guitar hero/rock band.  I would love to know how to do that.  Oh PC version?  you can add songs to it in order to play?  How does that work?  and this would only work on PC version, not on PS3 or Wii?

^@Tenkei:  Great setlist!  sounds awesome,  I personally want to play j-rock songs like:
-L'Arc-en-Ciel: Driver's High, Ready Steady Go, link, MY HEART DRAWS A DREAM, STAY AWAY, Daybreak's Bell, New World, Nexus 4, I'm so happy, Pretty girl, HONEY, Dive to Blue, etc. to name a few...
-VAMPS:  Love Addict, Cosmos
-GACKT: redemption, Another world, Mizerable, vanilla, black stone
-Detroit Metal City: SATSUGAI, Slash Killer, Grotesque
-X Japan: forever love, last song
-Janne Da Arc: Shining Ray, ICE, Dolls,
-BAAD - Kimiga Sukidato Sakebitai
-WANDS: Sekai ga owaru made wa... ,sekaijyu no dare yiori kitto, ai o kataru yori kuchizuke o kawasou
-GReeeeN: Ai uta, Kiseki
-Aqua Timez: Velonica, niji
-Sambo master: Seishun Kyousoukyoku, Sekai wa sore wo ai to yobun da ze
-Brillant Green: Ash like Snow
-Kobukuro: Akai ito, sakura
-YUI: My Generation, again, Life, rolling star
-Aya Kamiki: Kizu Darake Demo Dakishimete
-enoz - lost my music, god knows

just to name a few... :D

UPDATE:  So instead of having a japanese Guitar Hero/Rock Band version, there is something called GuitarFreaks and DrumMania.  but it's mostly arcade, I think.

Finally Thinking about getting Guitar Hero, Rock Band or any other rhythm/music simulation games for the Wii.  but I dunno the different between them.
according to forum members which one should I get?  Buying for the Nintendo Wii.
-never had one so want one with a bundle. including controllers.
-Want a game that will play guitar, drums, vocals.
-one with good variety of songs, mainly recent and modern, with pop, rock and hip-hop music is possible.
-maybe one that can make your own tracks or freestyle play(?)
-Though what I really want is a J-rock/Jpop version, but ain't getting it anytime soon, I'd believe.

hopefully getting one as soon as possible so please answer soon.
btw, Would one guitar, drums, microphone controllers for , like, Rock Band works on other games, like Rock Revolution, Guitar Hero, etc. and vice versa?  is it compatible?

I hve rock band 2 on the ps3 and I don't think it's possible to make custom tracks for it. I think you have to get guitar hero then if you really want the custom tracks thing. I personally prefer Rock band, cause I like the tracklist better. Also rock band has alot of downloadable songs to offer. At least on the playstation, don't know if it applies to the Wii as well. Iguess you should just look at the songs both games have to offer and then decide wich game to choose.
