Why should Akimoto Sayaka be responsible when she was NOT at fault?!
The agencies and all parties concluded that she was NOT at fault so she should NOT resign as captain!
The company should support her instead of fearing for its life that the rumor may hurt the company!

Collective culture at work. But yeah, this is stupid. I also wonder how much of it is her decision. Sayaka takes her job seriously and if she thinks that she has let her fans down, I can totally see her doing this on her own accord.

All that's left to do is support her though, which I will do.

i'm confused over this scandal..i do agree that she didn't do anything(personally I don't know what the hell the guy was trying to do)

when i watched the youtube clip of sayaka resigning and crying on ANN, I almost wanted to cry too.

She's got my backing and support. Wish I could write her a letter about it.

It's times like this that I'm glad I got her autograph at Anime Expo this past July. She was the first girl I saw and the first autograph I look at all the time.
