Can I ask the Erena fans what they think of her 'sexy' side? Did it make you more or less of a fan?

What I'm trying to say is; if I were an Erena fan, I'd dislike her doing all these 'risky' shoots because it would affect the way people view you. For example, Yuki got a whole load of new fans after her revealings pics. As a result, people might jump to conclusions when you say you like Yuki (i.e. you're a perv). ...if that makes any sense

In Erena's case it's a bit worse because she's still pretty young.

The short answer would be to not care what other people think, but as social human beings that always plays a part imo, maybe even subconsciously.

Btw, I'm not negative about Erena or her fans, don't get me wrong. She's been growing on me lately.

It's not those Risky photo shoots or any pics that made me the Fan of Erena or other Girls , to be honest ! It's just that I really love Erena perform her Solo performances....her recent solo 'First love' was beautiful and she is up there with the best ! but I have no problems with Erena doing those photo shoots....sure Erena is still young but she is doing with her own wishes !!

since i can't be pervy in this thread i'll say it like this - all the girls whom i am a fan of, i am a fan first and foremost of their beauty...as in, imho, they are all pretty/beautiful, however you say it...that exists before anything else...'sexy' pics don't take away from their beauty (if they weren't beautiful those 'sexy' pics wouldn't be 'sexy', right?) in respect of her age and this site, i think it's safe to say that she's very beautiful and will only become more beautiful as she grows older...imho 'sexy' pics just reinforces the fact that she's beautiful (how many sexy ugly people have you seen?)

and tbh, her 'sexy' pics are nothing compared to certain other junior idols (some of which are younger than her) - her 'sexy' pics are still somewhat wholesome compared to some other girls...

I mean I see a clear partition between Erena and Erena's Work. While there are times something an idol does actually lowers my opinion of her, choice of photo assignments are never the case. To me it just seems like natural progression as she gets old and starts looking more attractive. While we (as foreign fans) might not really like it (given her age), this is something that Japan generally doesn't care too much about. She probably does not have much of an issue with it either. It's probably just another stepping stone.

I'm with john_hung on this. Compared to some other stuff I've seen, her 'sexy' stuff is very tastefully done.

I first became an erena fan from watching her playing with the balloons at the end of the shuffle/normal concerts(I think it was those anyway) this was before her first photobook even.

When her first PB was announced I wasn't surprised and I was glad they waited until she was the top end of u-15(a few H!P girls younger than 14 had been getting PBs) and well that was that. It was a natural progression to me really.

She's said herself she thinks she has a nice body and other girls in the same agency as her haven't done as many shoots as she has(plus she also takes a lot of photos of herself on her blog) so I'm sure she's very happy with the situation and for me that's all I need to know

I don't think there is any doubt that Erena has the right stuff to make it in the photo book and image idol market, but she is still quite young. Still, as mal pointed out, this is something that varies across culture and personal opinion. Also as he stated, Erena's more "mature" photo shoots are handled as well as something like that could be. As long as she isn't pulling a Narita Risa, it isn't too bad.
