yeah, look what happened to "Mikan"

maybe originally this song is the B-side, but since C-ute won "The Award" and the review of this song is good, they change it to A-side ........

as for the sales, I'm not worried ... since many people had heard it @ Kouhaku

Damn, I'm loving this song!

It's the part I liked the most in the kouhaku performance anyway.

Let's wait and see if there's any change in the arrangement (maybe a tad more upbeat? who knows...)

Damn, I want a radio preview with cute singing!

Oh, and does anybody have color coded lyrics for the concert version?

At first I didn't like this song. But it's really grown on me to the point that I was (kinda) singing it in the pub last night. Well, I was doing the LA LA LA bit.

It's the same song from Kouhaku 2007 (no change in the arrangement). Looks like Airi and Maimi kept their lines as well.

Maimi was the only one with a solo in the original though. Right???

EDIT: So I listened to this and Maimi, Airi, and Saki get solos. Why Saki? I DON'T KNOW. Anyway, Airi sings harmony during the chorus and I think Maimi sings a lower harmony?

As much as I was looking forward to a new song (...with a Cutie Ranger b-side...), this song really fits them and it does get stuck in your head.

Just heard the radio rip. I take back my initial misgivings, I really do quite like it. Certainly no Tokaikko, but it can fit up there with Meguru and Sakura. Both of which I wasn't such a big fan of to begin with, but grow with time and repeat listenings. It's not a ballad, that's all I can ask for really....
