AKB48’s Shinoda Mariko to grace the cover of ‘MORE’ for the first time

On November 4th, AKB48’s Shinoda Mariko attended fashion magazine MORE’s 35th anniversary event at Shibuya Hikarie Hall.

Shinoda will be gracing the cover of MORE for the first time on its January issue which will hit stores on November 28th. “My dream came true,” she expressed with great joy.

During the fashion show, Shinoda walked the runway with popular model Kurihara Rui. She said, “We were supposed to walk together, but he fell behind. I left him behind in the second half of show.”

Shinoda also reflected on AKB48’s new Team A’s first performance. She revealed, “There was a sense of accomplishment. There was also a sense of rivalry there wasn’t before.”

Mariko yesterday at the "Tutankhamun" exhibit at the Ueno Royal Museum, she was a special supporter for the exhibition and they were celebrating the fact that it's had over 1.6 million visitors for it.
