Prologue

Yossi, a beautiful girl with short reddish hair, held on to a small bouquet of flowers. She sat on a stone bench waiting for the love of her life to arrive. Flashing her most charming smile to a figure that was now approaching towards her direction, she looked down at her wrist to see the time then turned her attention back to her companion who had just took a seat beside her.

"What took you so long Rika-chan?" She whined sweetly.

"Gomen Yocchan." The tanned girl replied and leaned over to kiss the taller yet younger girl on the cheeks.

"It's ok. Here, for you." Yossi handed Rika the small bouquet of flowers she had bought not long ago.

"Arigato Yocchan!" Receiving yet another kiss on the cheek, Yossi smiled to herself.

The two girls sat on the bench, looking at each other lovingly while chatting away in bliss...

***

Chapter 1

The story takes place three years ago, back when the two girls were just in their first year of university.

"Umee! Ojisan, this is the best ramen I've ever tasted!"

A man who was in his mid-forties, with very short dark hair and a fairly fit body, gave a laugh and gave a nod, showing his appreciation.

"Of course it is. It's my father's cooking, no other ramen shop can beat his ramen." Yossi replied casually to, her friend, Satoda Mai's over reaction while she gave her father an assuring smile.

He smiled at the comment by his daughter in delight, as he cut the water from the noodles continuing to serve customers on his cart ramen shop. He was glad his daughter appreciated what he did. When Hitomi's mother, a very beautiful and compassionate lady, passed away, many people whom he had acquainted with had always advised him to get a proper job for the sake of his daughter. That was when Yossi assured her dearest father, that he should do whatever he wanted, and that she would be just fine. The young girl with such a mature mind set, never fussy and never materialistic but a very understanding and caring child. Everyday Yoshizawa Akira thanked god for such a sweet and understanding daughter.

The two lived a simple life together, and they stayed in a small apartment. Yoshizawa managed to pull though just enough for the two of them with his precious street ramen shop which recently, is growing with popularity. His daughter, Hitomi, not wanting to burden her ever so hard working father, works part time at a family restaurant to pay for her university fees. Yossi is a student in Toyo Gakuen, majoring in Photography.

"Gochisosama! We got to go for work now! See ya dad!" Yossi said in a hurry, stood up from her chair and began to rush down the street.

"You didn't even finish your ramen yet!" Yoshizawa bellowed after his daughter.

Mai who was already on Yossi's heels, ran back in to slurp one, maybe two, last mouths full of ramen before running after Yossi.

"Now I'm done. Thanks ojisan! Bye."

"Bye girls!" He sighed and went back to work.

***

Yossi ran at top speed down the bustling streets of Tokyo, dodging every now and then to avoid colliding with anyone. That was when she saw it, though the glass window. She had never seen anything so beautiful ever before in her entire life. Black in color, 12 mega pixels, high resolution LCD monitor screen, lens mount with rubber seals around it. The Nikkon D300 attracted so much of Yossi's attention that the short haired brunette couldn't see what or who was in front of her anymore.

Crash!

"Ita-i!" A girl screamed with a really high pitch.

Yossi had fallen on her front with her arms supporting her body out of reflex. She looked down to find a very pretty girl with long dark hair laying in between her arms glaring back at her. Yossi stared back at her, thinking that this girl was the most, no maybe the second most, beautiful thing she has ever seen that day.

"Your pretty." Yossi unknowingly said out loud as she continued to stare at the girl's beauty.

"Erm thanks," she blushed at the compliment, "but can you get off me please?"

"Oh.. OH, sorry. Sorry." Yossi got up from the floor and gave her jeans a brush or two wiping off any dirt that attracted itself to her jeans, and then she stretched out her hand to help the girl up from the floor. "Are you ok?"

"Yes, I'm fine." The girl replied, and squatted down to pick up everything she dropped. Sheets of papers with vague drawings of girls and a few colored pens and pencils was scattered on the floor around the two. Yossi joined her to help, "Your drawings are... nice." trying to make small talk, the taller girl stacked the pieces of paper together and handed it over to the girl.

"No it's not.. If you want to lie, lie properly." She said sounding slightly angrily.

"Sorry.. But why draw only girls?"

The tanned girl rolled her eyes and replied, "It's called fashion designing."

"Oh."

"I'm Yoshi-" Yossi opened her mouth, wanting to continue their little conversation and introducing herself when she heard someone shouting at them.

"OI! What are you doing? You'll be late!" Yossi glanced at the familiar voice and noticed Mai finally caught up with her then zoomed past her towards the family restaurant. She looked at her watch and her eyes widened. "Yabe-e!!"

"Er.. Sorry about just now. I’m really sorry. Bye!" She apologized for the umpteenth time and went dashing off towards Mai's direction, leaving the girl who confusingly waved goodbye to Yossi.

***

"I'm home!" Rika shouted to no one in particular, announcing her arrival like she always does while she took off her heeled shoes and stepped into the two storied house.

"You’re late. Where have you been?" The voice of a woman shouted back.

"Mama... I was only ten minutes late." Rika said as she walked over to her mother in the kitchen and stood beside her at the kitchen stove taking a peek into the pot which her mother had been busy stirring.

"Ten minutes is still late, you never know what can happen in ten minutes. You could get kidnapped or meet some bad guy. So, what did you do, with who and why were you ten minutes late?" Rika's mother nagged.

"Relax Mama, I'm here now aren't I? See, " Rika smiled at the mother while she wrapped her arm around the slightly shorter and plum lady, "no one kidnapped me. I just missed the bus and had to wait a little longer that’s all."

"Hmm.. Really? Then next time call if you miss the bus. So I wouldn't have to worry so much."

"Hai hai, ok Mama." Rika assured her mother and peered into the pot once again taking whiff of it's aroma. "Mmmm! Curry! Yatta!"

"Yes, I'm cooking your favorite beef curry, so go clean yourself up before dinner." She said with a slightly strict tone.

Rika smiled happily  and planted a kiss on her mothers left cheek as she removed her arms from her mother's shoulders and ran out to the living room towards the staircase, she greeted her father who had just came home before dashing up into her room.

"So Rika-chan, how was your day?"

"Oh it was great Papa! Shibaccha-"

"Rika, don't talk with your mouth full. It's not lady like at all." Mrs Ishikawa interrupted Rika as she sat on the chair is a very poised manner.

The family of three sat at the dinning table eating together. Rika was brought up in a fairly rich family, with a father who dotes on her very much and a mother who has protective over Rika. She had grown up with everything she need and didn't need. In other words, one might claim Rika to be a spoiled child as she could get what ever she wanted, when ever she wanted. Yet she did not have such qualities of a spoilt child due to a strict upbringing by her mother who was a very conservative lady who believed girls should behave elegantly, treat everyone with respect, and be loyal to their loved one always.

"Yes Mama, sorry."

"Now you can go ahead and continue your story. I am sure you father wants to know what happened to his precious daughter today." The lady smiled at her husband and quietly continued with her dinner.

Rika told everything that happened that day to her father happily. Even though it was through their dinner time, Rika just loved how her father would spare time from his busy schedule just to listen to her ramble about simple things like how her day was. She went on about her day in school as a fashion design student in Toho Gakuen, how her best friend Shibata Ayumi was just in the school beside hers, and also about the incident that happened on her way home.

"What? Someone crashed into you making you fall down, and you didn't do anything about it? Are you hurt? Did that guy do anything to you? How ungentlemanly of him to crash into a girl like that. He had better not lay a hand on my daughter or I would personally go to the police and..."

"Mama? I'm fine, it was just an accident. That person wasn't looking straight that’s all." Rika assured her mother who surprisingly over reacted. She didn't bother to correct the gender of the person who had crashed into her either since she knew she'd never see her again. But then Rika just couldn't help notice how dashingly handsome the girl looked when she kept staring at Rika.

Second-most? Yossi thinks the camera is prettier than Rika? XD

Well, since she's a photography student, I guess it's sort of understandable why Yossi would think that.

Ah, so Rika's doing/studying fashion design.

OH! Maybe they'll get to work together!!! Rika can design the clothes and Yossi can shoot the photos for them! :w00t:

Now THAT is a good thing to see. Too often these days kids of rich families grow up spoiled and end up with attitudes and demeanors that make you just want to smack the shit out of them. Kudos to Rika's mom here for making sure Rika was grounded and had good manners. :thumbsup

It's honestly up to you, plus it depends a lot on how the story progresses as you write it. If you're the type to outline the entire story before you actually write the chapters, then it'll obviously be easier to predict how long it'll be. However if you're the type to "just write" as they go...who knows?  :D

Out of all the Yossi pairings, I prefer her with Rika the most. Even the term IshiYossi sounds better than the rest :P

Rika has such a nice and loving family. If Shibachan is in the school next to her, could it mean that is the same one Yossi goes to? If so, they should meet soon *rubs hands with glee XD*

It really depends on how many plots you have in your mind. A short story could be just as good as a long one. No matter what your decision, I'll definitely be around to read it :)

Chapter 2

"Ne- Shibacchan, come on lets go for lunch." Rika whined to her long time friend since elementary school. They seldom met now days since they were both in different schools, with different schedules plus with different groups of friends. This was one of the very few days which Rika had initiated to meet up with the older girl, but apparently Ayumi was still quite busy with her school work to entertain the ever so carefree Ishikawa Rika.

"Hai-hai, just wait one minute. I have to go submit the pictures I've taken for my assignment first."

"Eh- But you said you were free today, can't you submit it tomorrow? Just hurry ok?"

"Hai! I'll be right back!" Ayumi said as she jogged her way back into Toyo Gakuen towards the art's compound, leaving her friend to wait for her at the bench outside the school.

Ayumi opened the door and stepped out of the room with a smile attached onto her face. She had just been complimented on her work by one of the strictest teacher. She continued walking down the hallway and spotted someone familiar fiddling with a fairly old camera in frustration, almost on the verge of smashing the camera on to the floor.

"Yossi! What are you doing?" Ayumi shouted at her schoolmate.

"This thing just isn't working." Yossi replied angrily and began shaking the camera now.

"Give me that." Ayumi snatched the device from Yossi's hands and began to adjust the lens and some other parts of the camera before focusing it on an object, taking random pictures then handed it back to Yossi.

"There, you have to reset this part every once in a while." she instructed as she pointed to a small button at the corner, "You should go get yourself a camera instead of using the school's one, it'll save you all these little problems."

"Thanks Ayumi senpai!" Yossi thanked the older girl. "I know, I'm saving up for a new camera now."

They both walked out of school exchanging information about their assignments and their classes. Walking pass the gates of the school, Ayumi noticed her best friend seated on the bench nearby waiting impatiently for her. Ayumi flashed the girl a guilty looking grin, to which the younger girl return a similar grin reluctantly. Ayumi then watched her friend with amusement as Rika's grin turned into a slightly shocked look the moment she took a glance at the person beside Ayumi.

"Gomen, Rika-chan. I bumped into my friend here and ended up forgetting about you.. a little." Ayumi apologized to her still slightly shocked looking friend.

"Eh, it.. it's ok Shibacchan," Rika stammered just a tad bit while still staring at the girl who had knocked into her, causing her to have a sore bottom, in curiosity as the latter seemed to be too busy with her camera to notice Rika sitting there staring.

'that’s.. that handsome girl from yesterday...'

"Man... I still need to find someone to be my mod..el" Yossi's words trailed off the moment her eye's came in contact with Rika's "Your that fashion girl from yesterday. Really sorry about yesterday again."

"Fashion girl?" Ayumi blinked in confusion, then busted out laughing. Although she might not know what was going on between the two, just the thought of Rika being called fashion girl sent Ayumi into tears of laughter.

"What? What did I say?" The clueless Yossi questioned while staring at her schoolmate. Rika smiled and blushed in embarrassment, then sent harmless glares to the now almost composed Ayumi.

"Hey, your doing that model assignment? You better hurry and find yourself someone to be a model for you. I took so long finding someone who was willing to do it, until I almost didn't have the time to finish taking enough pictures." The now composed older lady said to Yossi.

"You wanna be my model?" Yossi asked Ayumi, who smiled back and mouthed a 'NO WAY' to the young photographer in training. Looking fairly disappointed, Yossi looked down on the floor before her eyes found itself staring at Rika. A smile appeared onto Yossi's face while she continued to stare at the girl whom she barely even knew.

"What about you?"

"Eh?" Rika's heart skipped a beat, "Me? Mo..model? For... for you?"

"Yup. So we'll start tomorrow, meet you here at 8 A.M. sharp. I gotta go for work, see you tomorrow!"
Yossi said cheerfully and began jogging a few meters away, she stopped halfway then walked briskly back to the two, grinning.

"Ishikawa Rika, I'll give you her number later. Go for work already, your already late as we speak."
Ayumi nonchalantly informed Yossi as she chased the taller girl away, plus receiving more harmless glares from her best friend.

"Ayumi! I didn't even say yes yet!" Rika protested, yelling at her friend.

"Ma- ma- don't have to get all worked up Rika-chan. Can't you be nice for once and help out my very kawaii junior?" Grinning, Ayumi too began walking away towards the streets, "I'm hungry, where do you wanna eat today Rika-chan?" Changing the subject, she asked Rika who gave out a sigh and tagged along.
***

Rika was nervous, she had never been so nervous before. She was going to get her pictures taken by someone whom she didn't know very well, at the same time someone who happened to look very attractive too. Rika sat on that same bench, outside Ayumi's school, waiting, she pictured herself standing in a room, with a white background, in front of a camera with Yossi giving her various comments and compliments. It did look like fun to do for the girl who knew very well how attractive she looks. Rika began to smile in delight at the thought of being praised about her looks, then being told to do various poses, and finally getting her pictures shown in the school's campus. Maybe she'd get famous because of this, maybe some scout would spot her picture somewhere and ask her to become a model someday..

Yossi stood in front of the tanned girl sitting on the bench, staring at her. "Ishikawa-san?" She called out to the girl who was apparently having a daydream as she giggled and spoke softly to herself.

Rika jumped up from her seat out of shock and embarrasment. "O-ohayo, Yoshizawa-san." She greeted as she smiled.

"Ohayo." Yossi replied returning the smile, "Shall we go?"

"Hai." Rika said, following the taller girl. She looked back at the school puzzled; Yossi was walking in a direction away from her school. "Ano... Yoshizawa-san, were we going?" She asked.

"You don't have to be so formal, just call me by my name. We're going to this place I know with this great scenery."

"Hai, Hitomi-chan." Rika called out making Yossi blush and cringe.

"On second thought... Call me Yossi." Rika giggled then looked up in front at Yossi,

"Yossi. Oh, you can call me by my name too!" Rika said cheerfully while she quickened her pace to walk beside Yossi.

"Ok, Rika-chan." Yossi said turning to face Rika, making Rika blush ever so slightly turning her gaze onto the ground.

'Click'

"Eh?" She looked back up, surprised, at Yossi who held her camera pointing it at Rika.

"You looked cute at that moment so I had to take one picture." Yossi explained as she grinned at the girl beside her.

Can't you be nice for once and help out my very kawaii junior?"
Yeah Rika, be nice and help out kawaii Yossi!   :hee:

Yossi stood in front of the tanned girl sitting on the bench, staring at her. "Ishikawa-san?" She called out to the girl who was apparently having a daydream as she giggled and spoke softly to herself.
Picturing that...damn that's cute.

Ooooooooooooooh...outdoor shots. Very nice. :yep:

Yossi =  :shy2:
Rika =  :shy2:

"Eh?" She looked back up, surprised, at Yossi who held her camera pointing it at Rika.

"You looked cute at that moment so I had to take one picture." Yossi explained as she grinned at the girl beside her.

Chapter 3

Rika watched as a tall and boyish girl dressed in a casual outfit with an apron around her waist bowed her head in front of customers. She flashed them fake smiles and welcomed the new customers, ushering them to their seats.

'She looks so cute in that apron...' Rika awed over a girl whom she had met just a month ago, her gaze continued to stay glued onto Yossi..

"Irashaimase. Table for two?"

"Hai, right this way." Yossi served yet another customer who entered the restaurant with a smile plastered onto her face. She strode past Rika's table, flashing the older female a genuinely huge grin before going back to her 'work face' ushering the customers to their seat.

"Your drooling Rika-chan." Ayumi said casually as she glanced though the menu.

"Eh?" Rika lifted her hand to her mouth with one quick motion, "No I'm not!" She yelled at her friend then picking up the menu as well, not particularly looking at the menu but to hide her embarrassment.

She stared at the menu in a daze while she traced the tip of her glass in a circular motion in boredom as she waited for someone to come take their orders, hopefully Yossi.

Giggling, Ayumi looked up from her menu. "So now that I've finally got half of your attention, what are you going to eat? Wait no, don't tell me, I know what you want.. You want a Yoshizawa Hitomi, right?" She smiled cheekily at her long time friend who was currently, blushing furiously.

"What can I get you guys?" Supposedly, saving Rika from anymore embarrassment, the heavenly voice asked.

"Ah Yossi! Finally, I'm starving. I'll have a set C and Rika-chan wants one... Yosh-"

"SET B!" Rika screamed before Ayumi could finished her sentence, "..I'll have a set B." She repeated herself and gave a semi-shocked looking Yossi a weak smile.

"Set B and C.. Ok!" Yossi flashed them a friendly smile before turning to walk towards the kitchen.

"Don't forget to add more of that sauce and rice for mine!" Ayumi voiced out. "Yea yea, I know." replied Yossi as she continued to walk. Rika on the other hand glared fiercely at Ayumi.

"What?"

"What what? Don't ever do that AGAIN!" She hissed while Ayumi burst out laughing.

It had been slightly more then three weeks since Rika had met Yossi, and already she was falling head over heels in love with the younger girl. Ever since that day Yossi choose Rika as her model, they've been spending more time together with the exception of Ayumi tagging along, taking on the role of their middleman. Although sometimes, Rika did wonder why, and how, she could fall for a girl instead of a guy. There was just something about Yossi that made her forget the whole same gender relationship situation. But one thing was for sure, if her family members (especially her mother) ever found out about her currently growing feelings for Yossi, she'd probably suffer from a gruesome death.

***

Yossi stretched her arms letting out a big yawn.

"I'm free!!" She yelled out as she stepped out of her work place with arms in the air.

"That's pretty exaggerating of you, considering you’re going to be back here again tomorrow." She heard a voice comment on her actions together with a faint giggle. Yossi turned her head to the voice that spoke with a surprised look.

"What are you two doing here? Aren't you supposed to be home by now?" She asked the two girls who were sitting at a curb nearby the restaurant. The second question directed more towards Rika, as she learned about the older girl's protective parents.

"Rika-chan's sleeping over at my place tonight." Ayumi explained briefly with a smile.

Being the daughter of a rich and trusting family, Ayumi lived alone in the capital of Japan ever since high school. Her mother, a famous writer, had a job which required her to move all over the country for a period of time. While her kind and understanding father, followed his wife around the country, giving her all the support and love she needed for her stressful job. He used to work as a business man before his wife suddenly became the country's most loved writer. The family then had to make a very though decision of living apart as Ayumi strongly refused to move from district to district every now and then. She had friends and a life in Tokyo, which she didn't want to part with. That was when Ayumi's mother left her an apartment to stay in and also requested her best friend, who was Rika's mother, to help to keep an eye on her strong minded daughter.

"Oh."

Not much of an expression could be seen on Yossi's face as she replied ever so casually and coolly. Truth be told, it took some time before Yossi's tired mind could put two and two together to fully understand what Ayumi was trying to say.

"Okayy so.. Here," Ayumi said as she pushed Rika towards Yossi like she was an object, "have her back by... before daylight? Have fun kids!"

With that, the oldest girl of the three began to walk away in the opposite direction. The two girls stood dumbfounded staring at Ayumi's back. Rika yelled out to her best friend half in anger, half in confusion. While Yossi stood there, her face still blank with confusion, her mind processing at an extremely slow pace after a day's work.

'Rika sleeping over at Ayumi's.. So?'

'Have her back by before daylight?.. Who is her?'

"Chotto! Shibacchan! Where are you going!!!" Rika shouted after her friend, who apparently tricked the girls, well Rika mostly, seeing as to how Yossi was still standing there watching the scene between the two best friends.

"Home. Someone has to cover for you while you go have your fun right?" The oldest girl shouted back and waved her arm causally bidding the two goodbye with a very wide grin.

The oldest girl who took the role of playing the middleman, more like woman, between the two girl soon vanished from the girl's views as her dark silhouette strolled further away and finally turning into the corner. Leaving her best friend, Rika, all alone with Yossi. The older, more tanned girl stood motionless. Nervousness filled her entire body, she was afraid to even turn back to face Yossi at this point. The last time they were together alone was back when Rika agreed to help model for Yossi.

'What should I do now?... What should I do??'

Closing her eyes shut, she finally picked up enough courage to face the younger girl. "Ano.." Rika mumbled while opening her eyes...

'Where did she go?'

Turning her head to the right, she saw Yossi. Walking slowly down the straight path, totally ignoring the fact that Ayumi had just practically threw Rika into her arms just a while ago. She stretched her arms in the air once again, and yawned fairly loudly while she walked.

'I guess she's tired..'

Rika sighed in disappointment, and began to follow the same path Ayumi had walked, letting Ayumi's sneaky plans go to waste. Truth be told, Rika was in fact quite excited and thankful for Ayumi's stupid plan to get herself and Yossi alone together. Maybe Yossi had never cared so much about Rika's presence so much, maybe she just didn't like Rika that way, or maybe Yossi had someone else she liked... another girl perhaps? or a guy...

Rika never ever want to know the answers. Maybe.. as long as Rika could just be with Yossi, even if it was from afar, that would be blissful enough for her.

"Where are you going?" The slightly deep voice called after Rika.

"Eh? I thought.." Rika turned her head facing the owner of that voice. Yossi was facing her direction, staring at her with a glint of confusion in her eyes.

"You’re going back to Shibacchan's house?" She asked.

Rike thought for a moment. "... Iyada!"

There’s no way was she going to let this chance pass her by. She did a slow jog towards Yossi and followed the younger girl as they began walking further away from the restaurant.

"Ano Yossi? Where are we going?"

"Home. I mean my house. I'm covered in all sorts of things, so I want to go home and get refreshed first. You don't mind right?"

***

The sound of water pouring onto the surface echoed loudly within the small apartment as Rika sat in silence while observing the other Yoshizawa's every move and features. Both father and daughter looked nothing alike, but then the way he move, walked and talked showed the similarities between the two.

"Ishikawa-san, do want some supper?" He asked Rika with a smile. The same smile Yossi likes to give Rika.

"Erm, You can call me Rika sir. And, yes please." Rika returned a polite smile.

"Haha.. I like you already Rika, finally someone who doesn't bother about late night meals." Yoshizawa Akira laughed as he poured the transparent-brown soup into two bowls containing ramen and brought it over to the table in front of Rika.

"Thank you."

"You know, that skinny thing in there would never touch any of my ramen unless it was in the day time. She'd blame me for making her grow fat and rubbish like that."

Rika laughed softly while looking down at the delicious looking ramen wondering how anyone could ever refuse to eat such addictive looking bowls of ramen.

"I don't know how she managed to grow up so big. She eats hell little, doesn't touch much on the sweet stuff, doesn't like meat.."

"Uso! Yossi doesn't like meat?" Rika asked, shocked.

"What?"

Yossi said suspiciously as she stepped out of the bathroom in tattered jeans, and half done with putting on her T-shirt. Rika who had caught a glimpse of Yossi's taunt abs, blushed furiously and deciding to turn her attention on the hot ramen in front of her.

"Nothing my dearest daughter, you want some supper? Your friend Rika is brave enough to eat some at this hour of time." He asked sarcastically receiving a glare from his only daughter. "Fine, fine. No ramen for you then." He went back to slurping a huge mouth full of ramen followed by two spoonful of soup.

Yossi then noticed Rika's slightly strange behavior, she moved her way beside the girl and sat on the floor beside the older one.

"You know.. The ramen's there for you to eat, not to stare at." She told Rika.

Rika looked up at Yossi, blushing once again, then back down at her ramen and began digging in. "Oishii!! Ojisan, this is the best ramen ever!" She complimented in a fairly high pitched voice, while Yoshizawa Akira nodded happily.

"You’re so lucky to have a father who is such a great cook, Yocchan!"

"Yocchan?" Both father and daughter questioned in shock. No one has ever called Yossi 'Yocchan' before.

Rika stared at the two surprised, hasn't anyone called Yossi or even her father for that matter, 'Yocchan'? It was quite a common nickname for people with their names or surnames’ beginning with ‘Yo’ wasn’t it?

***

"Is your father ok? He seemed a very different when I was eating his ramen." Rika asked concerned about Yossi's very friendly father whom she had an instant liking to.

"He'll be fine." She replied with a hint of sadness in her eyes, "I vaguely remember but, I think my mom used to call him Yocchan. So when you called me Yocchan.. I guess you kinda reminded him of her a little."

Rika fell silent, filled with guilt, although she didn't know that, she felt really bad for what she had unknowingly done. The atmosphere changed while the two walked quietly, Rika deep in thought while Yossi observed Rika's every move. It amused her how people would always fall silent when she mentions her mother, not that she would do it for fun or anything, but it just amused her somehow.

"Does that mean.. I can't call you Yocchan anymore?" Rika spoke, breaking the silence while Yossi turned her head over to look at her. "I thought it was a cute nickname though... “She went on.

'That was what she was thinking?'

"I.. I don’t mind actually, I kinda liked the way you called me that." Yossi blushed.

Rika's face brightened, "So I can call you Yocchan now on?" She asked once more.

"Yea.. Just, maybe not in front of my dad ok?" Yossi gave a shy smile while Rika nodded happily.

They both walked aimlessly down an empty and dark road, side by side in silence once again. Rika looked over at their surroundings and noticed, they were strolling near a lake, a beautiful lake where the moonlight illuminated within the surface of the water letting the faint light shine upon the small shop houses around it.

"Where are we?" She asked her eyes sill fixated on the pretty sight.

"Don't know.. But it sure is pretty here." Yossi replied also taking in the unexpectedly beautiful sight.

Letting their feet take the lead, the two girls strolled up a slightly steep slope which leads to a pavement. They followed the path down and saw a stoned bench. Feeling a little tired from walking, they decided to have a rest.

"It's so relaxing here! I should have brought my camera!" Yossi said with her arms stretched out as she took a deep breath. Agreeing, Rika closed her eyes and also followed Yossi, taking in the breath of fresh air.

They sat there the whole night talking about things that didn't matter and things that they both never really told anyone else. Yossi really liked Rika's company, somehow she could be herself around the older girl. Even if Rika was the one doing most of the talking and Yossi just listened, Yossi felt that she didn't really need to put up a strong front in front of her. She didn't have to act tough and strong, although she did it sometimes, just to see Rika blushed every once in a while. She just found Rika easy to talk to.

"Oh boy... Shibacchan's going to kill me isn't she?" Yossi said while staring at her watch.

"I doubt it.. She adores you too much to actually kill you. Besides, she's probably sleeping by now.." Rika, being a tad bit sleepy by now, replied absentmindedly.

Both girls slowly stood up from the relaxing bench, and began their walk back from where they came from.

"This is Shibacchan's place.."

"I know.." Yossi replied looking up at the tall mansion building, not knowing what to do next. She had walked Rika back to Ayumi's house as ordered, barely minutes before daylight.

Two girls stood in front of the building, gazing into each others eyes. Both waiting for the other to make a move. They stayed in that same position for the next minute or two before Yossi finally managed to open her mouth to say something.

"This might be a little to fast but, well.. Can I... erm," She took a deep, shaky, breath and continued to with her question. "Can I.. kiss you?" She managed to asked nervously.

A smile appeared on the latter's face, a smile which made Yossi relax a little, she tipped toed and leaned herself closer to Yossi. "Yes you can." She whispered softly, gazing deep into the eye's of the younger then closing them and waited for other's lips to touch hers.
