^ I just tried looking in the mirror and raising my hand to my face (yes I am that sad) but it still looked like my left...so I'm pretty sure it's her left. In fact I didn't even have a doubt until just now.

Just tried with my cell phone in my left hand and my right hand free and it matches her picture. Can someone else weigh in on this?

Right-handed writing Japanese sentences, but the problem and i have to agree with redux its the pinky and even if you had it towards the mirror you can tell which side is which but to say that it was her right its a little different IMO

Essentially that's the difference between a virtual image and a real image. But the hand in that photo is definitely and irrevocably her left hand. You can test it out yourself. Remember what the picture looks like and without using the photo as a visual reference raise the hand you think she was holding the marker in. It'll be your left.

Left-handed chicks are hawt :3
