A £125,000 campaign to replace Scotland's Best Small Country In The World tag has been unveiled.

And the exciting new catchphrase dreamed up by top advertising brains is..."Welcome to Scotland".

That's nothing. A couple of years ago the provincial government here in Manitoba decided they wanted to get a new slogan for the province. So they go and spend $2 million paying a fancy New York advertising firm and all they came up with was "Spirited Energy" (which most everyone here hates with a passion because the firm ignored all the Manitoba-themed slogans that were submitted/proposed by Manitoban citizens and came up with THAT).
