Really quick commentary from someone who went to the evening 3/22 concert.
Will be updated later, probably. (done!) My memory may be fuzzy, as I was really tired... went straight from NY-JP plane to train to concert, plus it's been a day. I haven't read the thread, so not sure what's been said already.
01. Resonant Bluethe outfits were reversed from the single ones - reina & ai were wearing black, etc.
02. Onna ni Sachi AreMCintroductions. Linlin talked about the olympics for some reason, linlin talked about being in mm for a year already or something.
03. Egao YES Nudenew outfits. iroppoi jirettai-ish, v. similar to the iroppoi ones from morning curry.
04. Iroppoi Jirettaiduring the pair dance, reina was by herself. she looked sort of silly imho, but better than i expected - must have been the poofy dress.
05. Osaka Koi no Utaaika got the talking part, jun and lin got short solo lines, right after each other (this is a pattern that holds sadly true for the whole concert). as for lines... eri got a lot of mikitty's, i think. risa got the line before her original line, too.
MCi think this is where they changed outfits? they were sitting down, leader standing in the middle. i think they talked about who reminded them of egao yes nude... ai chose eri (?) to answer, who chose mittsi.
06. Kanashimi Twilight07. Ambitious! Yashinteki de Ii janjunlin got lines.
08. Roman ~MY DEAR BOY~09. Do It! Now / Ai (First Half) -> Allnew outfits when all come in. different outfits, in the girl's color. boots were of the girl's color too.
10. Mr. Moonlight ~Ai no Big Band~ / All new outfits. ai sang practically the whole song. she was wearing this coat that i guess was supposed to be manly? she was the only boy.
11. Furusato / Sayuminot too bad... but still, good thing that it was short.
12. Namida ga Tomaranai Houkago / Kamei13. Memory Seishun no Hikari / Reinaabsolutely stunning.
14. Manatsu no Kousen / Risa (Back Vocals: KoharuAi, Eri, Sayumi, and Reina)the four solos were short versions. back vocals came in a while into the song. it was basically 5&6 gen.
15. As For One Day / All (Speech by Sayumi, Leads are Eri, Linlin, and Linlin)risa once again got the lines before her short line. i didn't see that much pandas... but the line distribution, for once, was more even than the original! wow~
16. Summer Night TownMC / Eri Ai (?)17. Morning Musume no Hyokkori Hyoutan-jima / 7&8 gennew outfits! schoolgirl-style red plaid skirts, striped shirts, white boots, and pirate hats/bandanas. koharu had this adorable little pirate hat set askew that fell off~ koharu did the opening monologue, jun the "morning musume de gozaimasu~" nose-holding part (not too well imho, but whatever).
18. Morning Coffee / 5&6 genthe plaid skirts, white boots, and white shirts. pretty good. sayumi got a solo line.
19. medley * Daite HOLD ON ME* Chokkan 2* SEXY BOY ~soyokaze ni yorisotte~[/b]
this transition was graet - so much that i didn't even mind that my favorite single was in a medley! it was like... um... souda souda ue ue souda souda sexy ue ue, if you know what i mean... really graet splitting of the dance.
* Joshi Kashimashi Monogatarithis was done via a "lottery" wheel on the screen - aika did a verse, then the chorus was done several times.
* Go Girl ~Koi no Victory~MC / Risa, Kamei, Linlin, Linlinpretty funny MC. junlin were saying things in chinese, and gakikame were translating (junlin did a hilarious freeze during the translation), then vice versa, then switched off again a few times... and then Linlin said something in japanese and gaki replied in chinese~
20. THE Manpower!!koharu was center-ish. but i think she's been for while?
21. Shabondamathe usual. almost exactly the same as the bonkyu one.
22. Big medley * I WISH* Happy Summer Weddingno monologue.
* Koi no Dance Site* Souda! WE'RE ALIVE* The Peace!AWESOME outfits! yellow shorts + little top with a red tie. kind of like the old peace outfits. only with shorts. and bellies. and not really baggy. so, not really like the old outfits. xDDD the transition was cool, too - they went through the box thing in the middle of the stage, and ta-da! outfits changed!
* Renai Revolution 21somewhere in the medley was a dance segment that looked original.
MC - 6th genthe 6th gen corners return~ this time it's eri's something corner.
23. Koko ni Iruzee24. Mikan25. Aruiteruthe dance is pretty graet in real life... the hip swaying is awesome, but it's, of course, not seen on recordings because they're doing close-ups... the timing of it irl is pretty neat though~!
Encore
E1. Ai Araba IT'S ALL RIGHTi was surprised, we were only chanting for an encore for a couple of minutes... i thought it would be longer. anyway, brown boots, jeans skirt or shorts with frilly blue things on either side, and pink or blue t-shirts with the member's name on them and a red M on the left sleeve. i'm pretty sure junlin got lines.
E2. Love Machine (Ah is by Risa)aika did the ending "love machine". the crowd was psyched, of course!
I made corrections to the earlier posted setlist, indisquirreled by italics.
There were, I think, 6-8 outfits... it seemed like a lot more than usual (I didn't list them all, mainly because I couldn't remember clearly...). I remember there were four sets of boots, total... =.= Nothing but boots, actually. Costume changes are edited pretty heavily on DVDs, it seems, because they're really noticable on stage - people just run in ten seconds into songs... -__-;
The stage had these box thingies, which had some awesome lights~ I'm not sure if the boxes were the tour's set or part of the concert hall's stage.
The medleys, I thought were generally handled well. A few cool transitions were nice, and a lot of the transitions were a significant pause, so it was really more like two short versions of songs than a real medley.
I was expecting one, but there was no line for goods! Then again, I got there 15 minutes before the concert started, so a lot of people were already inside, I guess... Speaking of goods, L shirts are really big, but S shirts are probably really small... which is really annoying.
It was amazing.
Feel free to ask me questions, I guess. I was in such an elated daze that I might not remember, though....
the bottom line: RESONANT BLUE IS SMEXY. (am i allowed to say that? xD)
(by the way, this is off-topic, but apparently the chinese government knows about Hello!Online, because it's blocked in china. =.=)
