The year 2000.......a 12 year old girl enters the Toho "Cinderella" contest. Over 35,000 contestants.....this girl would have to be lucky(?) to win...........
Well the year she was born, Jubilo Iwata, the professional football team coached by her father, Kazuaki Nagasawa, won their first league championship.

Back to 2000, 12 year old Masami Nagasawa is named winner of the "Cinderella" contest, and she has been 'wow-ing' her fans and viewers ever since, in movies, television dramas, and CM's.

Robokon has always been a guilty pleasure movie for me, quite predictable....the underdog pulls it out at the end(surprise, surprise)

but as far as the enjoyability factor goes it gets close to a 10, always leaves a big smile on my face even after ten watches.
