they did the theme perfs:
SQ
Jabba
Kaba

then announced Kaba wouldnt make it to the finals

then SQ and Jabba did encore routines that they created (music, wardrobe, choreography) that were supposed to represent their true spirit

I know this has been said already but WTF?!?! STATUS QUO? It's a "rumor" but i just heard that MTV just wanted to kick one of the west coast crews to have an east coast west coast thing =.=. Ahh w/e jaba wins anyways...at least....they better win!!

I talked to a friend who went to the recording on Tuesday, and it seems impossible to get in, even with reserved tickets. The problem is, there is entry for VIP people plus friends and family of the crews, who get priority entrance and seating. My friend who went with a group ended up not getting in, even though the tickets were reserved a week or two in advance.

I don't know about going anymore.. what's the point, we can't even see Kaba Modern chicks dance anymore! lol. But I'll make the trip if JPH!P wants to do a little meet up.

I was like in total "WTF?!" the whole time... STATUS QUO?! Give me a fucking break! Their encore performance was HORRIBLE! The whole time I really didn't know what was going on. It was a circus act and not a dance routine. I guess they are good dancers, but come on, they don't contribute to the advancement of the hip-hop dance at all. This shit has to be fixed!

And dude, Jabba's first mix jacked a dance routine mix me and some relatives did for something last year!

They had almost the exact same parts of Bye Bye Bye and Get Buck in Here we decided to put in it. The only thing is we had Get Buck In Here right before Bye Bye Bye. I swear they have a spy or something >_>

^ Yeah I was -really- confused about SQ's encore performance. It was a really WTF moment, when they stopped I was like "Oh, what that the end o.O" It just didn't have really good flo~ And their first "dance routine" was more stunts than actual choreography. This is America's Best DANCE crew, not Stunt Crew X.x I respect what they do, and they are good performers, but Kaba is the better dance team X.x

I don't know how Status Quo got the top votes.
But, they are a street team, and the do dance street.

anyways.

Status Quo's perf was average.

Jabbawockeez vs Kaba modern. Jabbawockeez was better. Kaba Modern was sloppy. I always noticed someone thats not in sync. I think i've seen it all when it comes to break dancing. I need to see something new.

the last 2 performances were kinda weak...

yeah, i dont really feel like going anymore anyway. not to mention that i req'd the tickets like 4 days ago and they still havent confirmed them, so i doubt we'd get in anyway.

I'm thinking this had to be fixed too, there's no way SQ could get the most votes. i think the producers wanted to get rid of kaba.

The show is fixed. Kaba Modern got screwed. Enjoy the win Jabbawockeez fans. But don't be surprised if they lose next week. I won't be watching this show anymore. I don't care who wins now.

Just saw the full show on tv.

If it was such a slim difference for SQ to get first, then Jabba has it for sure on Thursday. Kaba Fans are Jabba Fans as well, and will vote for Jabbawockeez.

Yuri, dang, she was so hott when she unzipped her sweater exposing her white sports bra thing at the end of their perf. Then when they did their walk, it was even better when she took off the sweater. I still like Cindy though, her hair is sexy.

And, did you know Ben Chung from Jabbawockeez used to be in Kaba Modern? =) thats pretty cool. I found out on Yuri's Myspace.

and yeah i heard that about ben, thought that was pretty cool too.

my mom caught SQ's encore perf when she was flipping channels and she was like "o_O wtf"

Aiight, so i've been reading forums and stuff. During the tapings of episode 7, the crowd was demanding a recount when SQ got #1. They also boo'ed!

At the end of the show, they Let Kaba Modern perform their encore performance. Of course, they didn't air it on tv. They're gonna show it on the live show or something.

Its sick. I like it better than the Red Pill. If it was Kaba vs Jabba in the finals, and the final votes was based on the Encore performances, I think Kaba would have won. Victory!

I hope you guys don't ditch the live shows cuz of MTV making SQ#1 =) I'm pretty sure all the crews are gonna dance again, and go all out!

Man, I really liked their ending performance, with 'Stronger', how they just tossed their masks aside and danced as themselves, real nice. I can't believe they're gonna be bringing back the show this summer, seems so quick

Where was my freestyle battle? ;_;

The routines they had could've been better. I actually think my favorite of the night was the one from the Southern crews, lots of different styles and it had lots of cool ideas. The west coast one I thought could've killed everything concidering who was in it... but they really didn't do as well as I hoped. I think it was too short for the amount of people maybe.

After jabbawockeez it's going to be really hard to top them in a new season. But there's this one crew called Non-Stop I saw once that could possibly do it. I recommend them if you liked jabba.
