2012.01.20 Tower Hachi @ Tower Records Shibuya

So, I literally spent about half a day watching Idoling!!! live today, starting with the recording of the upcoming Valentine Day special. It was pretty fun so look forward to it!

After the recording most if not all fans headed to Shibuya for the collaboration live between Idoling!!! and Tower Records Shibuya which has a live stage at the basement. I had tickets #61 and #94 for the first and second show respectively which are technically good numbers, but the stage is flat so people lacking height will most likely miss out on the experience if you're unlucky. Anyway, live number one!

Approximately 30 minutes for all songs including the MCs inbetween which is a rip-off on paper, but it was actually a very enjoyable live. If I had to praise the Shibuya stage for something it has to be the distance from the audience to the performers; kind of like 'so close, yet so far away'. You know you've been to too many events when the girls actually recognize you. lol.

Everyone present today was on stage for the MC, but since the stage is super tiny they had to split into smaller units for the songs. I never noted anything down so I have no idea who was there and who wasn't during MAMORE and DTF...

Anyway, when they mentioned that "it's still a little early for spring, but..." most of the crowd, including myself, went nuts when we realized what was coming up - Haruiro no Sora. It's only my second time hearing this live, but I have a feeling it just gets cuter every time they do perform it...

When we wound up back in cold Tokyo again we were greeted by three 19-year-olds, so it was time for the new coupling track "Bakkyuun!". Like I mentioned before at Venus Fort, this song is really really good live. Choreography is fairly easy, lyrics are catchy, but personally I just love seeing Suu-chan and Hii-chan's energy level at its max.

After Bakkyuun! and DTF came the handshake event, which thankfully was longer than yesterday's. Only by a second, but 3-4 seconds is just enough time to talk at normal speed. lol

Skipping right to Ichikoi. lol. After the first chorus the instrumental track skipped a whole verse and everyone including Asahi and Kaorun were like "lol wat", but it only took them a few seconds to adapt to the situation which was very well fought. After Ichikoi, Team Gakuran were split into two and Asahi had to perform DTF in her gakuran costume.

: Wait you're performing like that?
Umeko: Who are you anyway? Are you a boy or a girl?
Sakacchi: At least tell us your gender.
Aasahi: Uh.. I'm a girl.
Sakacchi: Ok, we're good to go!
(Sound of crowd booing. lol)
Asahi: Hold up, if I were to say I'm a boy looking like this nothing would make sense!

That's all for today.

My recording of this sounds perfect, by the way, so I'll get it up tomorrow or something.

I hope those performaces got recorded, would love to see them, especially Bakkyuun! Suu-chan and Hii-chan hyper sounds great.

Hello, a new guy here.

I'm actually visiting Japan next month and found out that I might be able to catch Nicohachi Live performance on the 4th of March and Jukuhachi Live in Osaka on the 11th. Anyone here knows how to get the ticket ?

I heard that for Jukuhachi you can get tickets on the morning of the show itself but I'm not too sure about it, while I have no clue about Nicohachi. Help would be much appreciated. Thanks so much !!!

I won't be that much of a help but I'll try. According to the official site, they do sell tickets on the day of the Nicohachi concert at Nicofarre. The tickets start selling at 12 but I don't know how many are available since I've never been to any Nicohachi before.

Same with Jukuhachi because I've never been to one in NGK before. Best way to get tickets are from auction I guess. NGK tickets shouldn't be that expensive because of the venue.

Nicohachi tickets are pretty easy to get depending on how picky you are. There's a lot of leftover tickets on the concert day, but you're most likely going to be standing in the rear rows. Well, it's the same deal with any concert really.

@Ayabie, same deal with any concert means going through 2nd hand tickets shops ? Mind telling me any other methods since you said it might be easy, sorry if I'm nagging, I really don't know much.

Yokohama Tickets is a good ticket reseller which has 3 shops around Tokyo (Ueno,Shibuya & Shinjuku), but the amount of Nicohachi/Shinahachi/Jukuhachi tickets is rather limited if any. It's a good source for bigger concerts though. And you can check on their website which tickets they have and in which shop. But they update only once a day, so the ticket might be gone when you arrive.

I guess going to the venue itself to buy leftover tickets (but get back row seats) and buying at this reseller shop (better seat at ok price) are the two easiest ways, but rather limited for Nico/Jukuhachi.
Auctions are better but more difficult if you don't live in japan.
