Your best shot would be to try and get a ticket from the Nicofarre venue on the day of the concert. hellguard and I are the only ones (as far as I know) in the Tokyo area so as long as we can keep in contact, any of us could help you out if you'd need anything.

Yeah, and you could see that she knew it that she failed. It's exactly the same way as she sang at her audition 2 years ago, off-key and off-tempo. I could expect them to be off-key, but most members have no problem with tempo/rhythm.
They should've just chosen someone else, just anyone. Omoi no Uta is not an easy song, and if you can't keep the correct tempo/rhythm, you might as well not even begin to sing the song... The other two did an okay job though.

You could tell that she was nervous because her voice sounded shaky during her solo. I guess this is because she has no experience singing solo unlike other members who get to sing Shinatsubu requests during Shinahachi live(no one requested for Ojima if I'm correct). Plus, she had to practice Ichikoi too and they said that there weren't enough time to practice properly. At least she showed effort by going to Maipuru for singing practice.

I'm not exactly surprised that it sounds like their 2 previous singles, because they did sell, they prolly thought "maybe if we stick to this formula we can sell at similar figures!".

are u serious? like mamore maybe, but DTF i don't think so. i'm missing their b-side ballads like "konayuki ga mau machinami de". and want summer PV with abundant bikinis.

Please don't put a harsh judgment to her, she only need more practice & practice to do. Also she was a 4th-gen or youngest-gen compare to 1st/2nd/3rd-gen, which means that she has a lot of time to do better than this..

Handshake event report!!!

I had three tickets for the day and I went to Serina, Umeko and Ruka. I was planning to go to Nomoto instead of Serina originally but Manami got sick and was absent for the day. They were doing a stamp rally event on that day and I tried to spread out who I went to to get the prizes. I got the Kaede stamp from Ayabie and the other stamp that wasn't in the pic was Asahi(from Ayabie too).

I had no problem with Umeko and Ruka but Serina being my first time going to her solo handshake event was a bit of a challenge. I was expecting to have a more serious talk but instead I got the hyper Serina that couldn't stop talking and making unnecessary cute faces

I didn't even get to say what I wanted to say so I decided to go to her again for the next event.

I got a MAMORE clear file with the stamp card but there were also giving away signed ones.

MAMORE goods were on sale during this handshaking event. They designed a new unnumbered t-shirt, a towel, an iron on patches(the patches are pretty badly made in my opinion), and pin badges(200 yen from a gashapon machine).

I think I originally got Sakacchi, Nomoto, Rurika, Ton-chan and Kaoru. I traded Kaoru for Ruka with Ayabie and Rurika and Ton-chan for Asahi and Umeko with another fan.

I went to Yuuna, Nomoto, Ruka(twice), Umeko and Serina. Yuuna was alright but because she had the longest line I only got 15 seconds at most. I heard that during the later sessions, she had two staff hurrying the fans during handshakes. Nomoto's fans organized an event because it was her birthday the day before. They collected money and bought flowers and presented it to her during one of the breaks between sessions.

I got another MAMORE clear file with the stamp card but I saw a guy who had just gotten a signed clear file. I took a closer look and it was signed by Ruka. Me and Ayabie followed the guy for a short while, confirming that he came alone to the event and probably not a fan of Ruka. We muster the courage to negotiate with him and after a short negotiation I've gotten what I wanted. I wished I had something more of a value to give him though

I stayed there until the end of the fifth session. I missed Yazawa who came to Ojima's booth during the sixth session. Those two were doing a pair handshaking event and for the first time, Ojima's line was flooded with people. After Yazawa was gone, Umeko was calling for people to come to Ojima's booth(at some point she was doing the staff's role at Ojima's booth, hurrying people during the handshakes

) These things can only happen during Idoling!!! event

This concludes the MAMORE release event for me and I ended up with 20 copies of MAMORE in total

10 more than I had originally planned on buying. Next event is the meet and greet with the 5th generation on 3/3(hopefully the unveiling live on 3/2 too but it's limited to only 600 people).

thanks for the report. I'd go Ojima just to have Umeko shoo-ing me away from the booth. That'd be so worth it.

I guess as times goes on you're going to have a wider circle of wota friends, that'll be awesome. Much easier to get collectibles then

Idoling!!! MAMORE!!! release handshake event @ Wangan All-purpose Hall

I went to all of them, but since 2/11 and 2/12 were just held the other day I have a fresher memory of them.

2/11 (Sat.)

I got to the hall a bit earlier than hellguard so I decided to hang around and check out the goods. There were hardly any people there, but I noticed some of the emblems were already sold out so without thinking I purchased Kaede's. After taking a better look at it I completely regret I got it... Crap quality. lol. The shirt and towel were pretty dull as well, so my wallet was safe for now.

Anyway, I had 11 tickets for this day and limited amount of cash with me, but I ended up buying three more tickets from a reseller so the final number was 13 for Saturday and plus one more for the day after. Since hellguard had 6 tickets we shared two stamp cards and got two clear files for both of them, one which we traded for the signed Ruka file. My round this day was:

Yuuna
Because of Yuuna's absence the week before she had a monster long line and you barely got 15 seconds compared to 30 seconds for the average line. If you think 30 seconds goes by fast, imagine half of that. lol. It's never a waste to go to Yuuna, though.

Asahi
Asahi is always fun to go to. I write her short messages in English and she reads it out loud and tries to translate it.

I've never been to Ton-chan's line before, but I think it's safe to say Asahi has the best pronunciation in the group. lol

Umeko
I went to her for the first time the week before so I wanted to check if she remembered I'm foreign and sure thing she did. I mentioned how I thought she really shined during their performances of MAMORE!!! to which she replied "Oh, you mean the Umeko dance?".

So apparently there's now a word for it. She also still remembers you, kei!

Ruka
First time going to Ruka, and since I'm a Kaede fan I pick the easiest topic to talk about. lol I asked who she thought was the smarter one between Ruka and Kaede, and she started to waste precious time by thinking so I went ahead and said that I thought she was the smarter one.

She agreed. When I went to tell Kaede about the results she got upset.

Maipuru
What's funny about Maipuru is I'm a huge fan of her, but I never really get any good response from her during handshake events.

She has an incredibly strange sense of humor, so you really have to hit the right spots which I guess I have yet to find... She's a real beauty up close, though, as anyone would imagine.

Kaede
I probably would've gone all 13 times to Kaede if it wasn't for the stamp card rally, which I'm kind of glad they decided to do. lol.

2/12 (Sun)
hellguard unfortunately didn't have any tickets for this so I went alone. Order for this day:

Last day of the event so I went out with a boom.

I actually found a stamp card by accident that already had four stamps on it, so I only needed one more to complete it. I stood around where I found it to see if someone came back for it, but I guess he either didn't notice he lost it or gave up. There was a suspicious guy that was indeed searching for something, but it turned out he was looking for a friend.

For some reason he tried to give me a complete stamp card, but I kindly refused... lol

Anyway, I filled in the missing piece of the card with a Kaede stamp and went to exchange it, and to my luck I got another clear file. I was so hoping it would get me a signed one, but the chances for that are pretty slim...

Well, with the events ending peacefully, I think I used up about 50 handshake tickets altogether... But yeah, totally worth it.

Gaaah,thinking about it afterwards,I should've gone many more times at the handshake event.....

cause if you can go more times to the same person, there's a chance they'll remember you

(well,I'm already so happy Ruka remembered me from the Jukuhachi 2 days before

I'm planning for a return to Japan during 12th live, which will probably be around June I guess, let's hope there will be some events again around that time...
