I've already got the first 3 videos from every member from the nestle site (in slightly higher quality than this one). When the 4th video (the url above) of every members gets posted this month, I was going to post them in one big batch on AMP.

I got some free time for the first time in a while yesterday and decided to finally make an OPV of Idoling!!! I have been meaning to do this for a while and it was a lot of fun to compile all the various clips together. 'I no Standard' is an especially nice song for this since it does cycle through each of the 20 members.

This is my first attempt and I hope to do more of this if time permits. Any comments or tips are most welcomed!

Thanks:) The episode I used in the OPV is 'Idoling!!! - 20100510 #625 - Idoling!!! Oozumou Go-gatsu Basho ~3ki Sei vs 4ki Sei~' (though she cries in quite a few more over and above this one!)

I need to rant for a bit.

Today was a recording day divided into two parts, and I got picked for the second one. The original mail had us gathering at 18:30 which implies a pretty long recording. Got a mail a few hours later telling us to gather at 16:45 instead. This still implies a longer recording, but with both parts having an even amount of episodes. It turns out the first part started at around 15:30... do the math and you might fit two episodes into that interval --- truth is they got to see one episode.

Usually they split the recordings into 14:00~ and 18:00~, but I guess due to circumstances (i.e Tokyo Motor Show for today, 12/9) they had to delay for a bit. The second part that I was in was scheduled to be loooong according to the staff. They let us into the studio smoother than usual as we were literally entering the same time as the girls, and that enough is a sign telling they've messed up somewhere. Still, they took their time with the two first recordings and we were told to step out for a while so they could prepare for the 1h SP that was coming up next.

Apparently there seemed to be a lot to prepare for as they told us in advance that we were going to be waiting for a while but that it most likely would turn into a fun recording. Seriously, I've been to a lot of recordings but that's the first time they've said something like that. There was another time when they had us waiting for approximately 30+ minutes, and that turned out to be the now legendary volleyball episodes. This time about 40 minutes passed, and 100 fans with high hopes got a slap in the face after being told they're not needed. Well, actually it was "I'm terribly sorry but they've decided to do it without an audience so you'll have to go home now" but where's the difference, really.

Worst part is we got to hear it from a third party. Not cool. End of rant. My face:



Best part of today wasn't even caught on camera, which was Umeko giving Masuno a massage.

Yazawa and Fonchi are graduating from the end of the month
They are doing a graduation live on 23rd December as well but only limited to 800 people.

なりたいと思っていなかったアイドル。素質も見込みもないと思っていたアイドル。
そんな私を０から育ててくれたアイドリング!!!
なりたいと思った。もっともっと上に行きたいと思った。素質や見込みは自分の努力でなんとかなっていくものと気がつかせてくれたアイドリング!!!
一生懸命ということがどれだけ大変でどれだけ大事なことなのか大切なものをたくさん教えていただき与えてもらいました。５年間の芸能学校に通っていた、そんな気持ちです！

idoling won't be the same without yazawa and Fongchi

I wonder if Yazawa & Fonchi will still be in the cover, PV and toreka of MAMORE!!!. Their graduation has awkward timing as I'm sure the PV and covers have already been shot. Will they leave them out...? Same goes for the Idoling!!! desktop calendar.
We'll have to wait and see.

They probably won't be involved in the new single because the release date is in January. That's why I'm having doubt whether they will be participating in the handshaking event or not. Let's hope the staffs give the fans a last chance to meet them but it will be tough mentally for Yazawa and Fonchi to take part in what would be a farewell handshake event.

I'm kinda disappointed they decided to announce the graduation suddenly. I would much prefer if they announced it during the 11th live because the fans were mentally prepared for a surprise that day. The atmosphere during the end of the live was just crying for someone to make a surprise announcement. Maybe they decided it would be much better to send the fans home happy rather than mulling over someone's graduation. But why announce it now though? I think the graduation decision was made before the 11th live but the timing for the graduation could be better. Maybe something happened behind the scene that forced the staffs to make the decision.

The only 1st gen members that's left are the ones that will participate in the theater show on 12/14 to 12/21. Let's hope they wouldn't make another surprise announcement after the show. At least let the leftover 1st gen members guide the new 5th gen members for some time before letting them graduate. This is the first time I had to deal with someone graduating(didn't get to see the 1st gen and Michelle that long to take a liking to them), it's just so shocking.

They did appear on it on the 16th according to the filename I got, I found it on share and downloaded it myself. Probably the 17th though as previous ones are on saturdays. Not watched it though as I need to downsize it in order to play it on my computer. If no-one else has it I could see about uploading it once I've converted it. Current filesize is 3.6GB which is high for me.
