Well the songs are from different time period - so I think it's kinda natural that we hear other voices from the girls. Because the tunes are a bit different from what they sing now.

Berikyuu is ending on 10/3, but a new show called "Yorosen!" (That's right, Yoroshiku senpai) will start shortly after on 10/6.

What's left to air on Berikyuu:

- Punishment (For Berryz again, I guess)

It's the only kind of show that makes sense anyway. Sounds like a good berikyuu replace then. I liked the previous Yorosen

Yorosen starting 10/6 will be replacing Berikyuu but this time it will include MM. Berryz C-ute and Mano Erina are still going to be.

Wow, so starting from 10/6 H!P's only regular TV appearance will consist of approximately 25 minutes a week.

I'm very curious about how they'll solve the member problems...

Ok so it's a hated fact, one that I sometimes deny, that Morning Musume's popularity in Japan is declining, but I thought that they still have a steady fan base and with them breaking out in Asia (Taiwan, Korea, China), they ought to be able to hold their ground in the media.
Also, isn't both Berryz kobo and C-ute are gaining popularity?

Morning Musume, alone, have 9 members currently. Both BK and C-ute have 7 each.
9+7+7=23. 23 people can't possibly be fit into a "7 min/3 times a week, 25 min total" show. They're no room for all of them to shine.

I really hope this is just temporarily until they can get a better, longer show. Each of them. And maybe it is.... I dunno, but BK, C-ute, Manoeri and a couple of MM members are new to being in the spotlight, and maybe UFA is just thinking that this will help the Experienced members teach a thing or two to the rookies and help develop a tv personality and hope in time, they'll can hold their own. It's like a support system. i dunno, but maybe...

whatever the case, I hope H!P bigger and better things in the near future.

First, They don't have that much money to spend. It's a big risk. and from the current situation, who knows what will happen. they don't know if the girls could handle it.

there's also the question of, will any station give them their own show? are they able to give a 30 min or + shows for each of the groups? is there enough money to keep them on? will anyone willing to? will anyone watch them? If ratings aren't good, they cut it just like that.

there are more reason, i guess. but since i'm not in the biz, I could only think of this much right now...

but damn! I think Morning musume should at least have their own show. Berryz Kobo and C-ute, even if together, should have their own as well, and maybe with a longer time.
Morning Musume is the flagship of H!P/UFA anyway. If they resorted to this, what would the future of H!P be? I'm afraid of the possibility and what this may results.
I'm seriously hope I'm wrong though. I mean, very, very wrong.

UPDATE: okay so I've been thinking...
It just been announce that Morning Musume are going to be performing in the Meet in Beijing 2008 - Evening Asia on Sept 16 (along with other Asian artists) and it got me to thinking the reason why HM@ is ending and Morning Musume is moving to a 25min/week with BK and C.
Maybe it's because of Tsunku commitment to expand Morning Musume into Asia and they need more time to work on that with performances and events held throughtout Asia, yet a commitment to a show will dragged them down and overwork them. grouping with BK and C will share the spotlight and when they can't appear, at least the HP kids could do it and vice versa. It gives them flexibility.
at least, that's what I'm thinking...
still I hope the show will evolve into an even better show.
