Okay now that I'm not Arnold anymore, I can write more

Arnold may have liked the song but I actually found it quite horrible. And it had absolutely nothing to do with anyone's vocals *GASP* but the horrible constant beat that makes my brain want to pop. I thought Balalaika was a genuinely catchy, fun pop song... This one's just insanely insane... It's too much for me. But that's okay, I'm at least 10 years older than the target audience.

The girls are great, everyone looks beautiful/cute, but I wasn't completely joking about Kikkawa's happiness as Arnold. lol I've had this general feeling that if she doesn't smile, she has a kinda "meh" expression on her face, and even her smile sometimes doesn't look genuine. So if you wanna compare her to Micchii (the girl who beat her at the audition) - yes, Kikka may sing better than her and be prettier in a 'conventional' way, but when Aika smiles I believe that she's happy. But with Kikka I think "she smiles because she has been told to smile". If that makes sense. SO ANYWAY I think this is easily fixed with experience (or accepted as a part of her character) so it's not that big a deal, but I thought I'd write it down.

I LOVE IT.

Even though I'm a big Sayaka fan, I had my doubts about this unit at first. I figured it'd just be something I didn't care for at all. But then I was totally blown away!

I love the sound, the PV is adorable, and this song totally won't get out of my head now. My only complaint is that the overhead angles made the girls sort of look like their faces were dirty at times, but at other times they really worked.

And I guess in total opposition to Shirenu here, this made a Kikkawa fan out of me. I think she has loads of idol appeal and totally shines here. She was AMAZING on her close-ups, especially that "situation" line at the beginning of the song. She totally aced that shot.

Anyway, I couldn't have imagined better, honestly. This is such a solid unit. I didn't mention it yet, but Sayaka has such a pretty voice, too. 

I can't wait to see a live of this.

Yuu REALLY give me the "she smiles because she has been told to smile" ........ I remember Tsunku said "smiling, energy, and fun are very important" (something like that ... can't remember correctly) ..... and I think that's why she didn't get picked  .....

also she REALLY needa work hard @ dancing ......

I'm really surprised that I actually (kind of) like this song. I might be developing a soft spot for Koharu...
The chorus makes me think that the song would be even better if it wasn't so happy.

I completely forgot about this unit and I managed to miss this thread at least 20 times 

Koha looks great in this  I don't care about her not being able to sing haha. The wacky noises and insane songs like 'konnichi pa' and 'hana wo pun' is what I like about her. I like this one too.

I have no idea who the other two girls are. The yellow one kinda ruins the pv for me. The blue one is ok, but not really special or anything.

The song is cute, the colors are bright, what else do you need for a genki fix~
