Cook accused of stuffing hair into steak

When Kevin Hansen visited the local Texas Roadhouse restaurant for dinner with family and friends last Saturday, he was served more than the nationwide chain's promise of "legendary food."

Hansen showed up at the police station Sunday complaining of hair in his steak.

"I started eating it," he said in an interview. "I noticed the hair after three bites."

Well, that cook has pretty much screwed up his career now. Just as well, I wouldn't want a guy like that making my food anyway.

Heard about this on the radio. The host wanted ppl to guess what it was,so I was thinking it was something more disgusting than hair.

How should the law handle food tampering by food workers?

Cameras.

I think that would be fair. They are regulated by government health inspectors, so why not monitor the handling of food. Big brother is using cameras to fight crime, isn't causing people to catch illnesses from the mishandling of food a crime?

Seriously though, I think cameras would definitely be an asset in the fight to prevent shit like this from happening in the future.  The only problem is that many restauranteurs won't likely be willing to pay for them to be installed and/or run.
