I'm not THAT easy to convince, I just choose to be agreeable sometimes.

I'm finally done with this!!!

Sorry if it's too long or something. I started out translating sentence by sentence but then I got too tired of that. I didn't translate the last part, the one with the annoucements b/c it's kinda boring-ish.
This week's episode just finished loading on my iTunes so I'll get started as soon as I can. GANBARIMASU~~~

FIVE STARS - 11/12
Opening:
Yesterday was Reina’s birthday and she turned 19. “YAAAAY~”

She feels like 19 is very big (as in a very big deal). There is a big gap between 18 and 20 and 19 is right in the middle. She feels one step closer to being an adult but in her heart, she feels like she hasn’t changed at all.
Rapid Reina Subject Change

Her photobook was released last month and she thanks everyone who purchased it. Reina’s favorite outfit was the pink and leopard-print loungewear thing. It was shot in a hotel room and the weather outside was really nice. So the sunlight coming in the window made her skin look really good as well as accentuate the pink in the outfit. The shots were also to her liking.
Normally, Reina shows the finished product to her mom to see what she thinks. In the photobook, she wears this emerald green bikini and is laying on an inflatable bed thingy (the pic I posted before) Upon seeing that photo, her mom was like, “Why are you wearing pads on your butt and chest?” Reina thought it was hilarious, but was quite surprised. She notes that the bikini cuts of at the tops of her thighs and you can see her butt pretty clearly. She was watching her mom as she looked at the photobook and then her mom proceeded to turn it upside down to look at it. Reina acknowledges that that shot does make her assets look a little bigger (“swollen”). She thinks that if anyone found themselves in that position, they would be a little worried too. So after mom said that, she was like, “It’s not a pad, it’s just my really nice butt” Her mom really laughed at that.
Reina thinks of photobooks as sort of memory albums of that year so she’s happy to have gotten one every year. She says that the shooting (of the photobook) is also a lot of fun and she really likes them. In her current photobook, she wears a pink racer-like outfit and at the location of those shots, there were tons of bugs. You can tell by her face that she was bothered.

She also liked the red dress and the lighting of those shots. She prefers natural lighting over artificial studio lighting.
Mail:
First Mail: I Am Chicken talks about how she is past age 20 but her voice is really high and is very energetic. Her friends always tell her to act her age. She feels troubled because she is so KY etc. She wants to know how to get others to lighten up and get out of the embarrassing situations.
Reina thinks that there are people that are happy and people that are unhappy about being told to settle down. People are always telling her to calm down too. She thinks it’s ok to ignore them.

She also thinks you should be energetic if you feel like it. Reina says she gets really loud in the dressing rooms during concerts because she’s so pumped up. Jun Jun always says, “Tanaka-san, this is bad! This is bad!” (Tanaka-san, yabai, yabai). The members see her weird side then but on stage, she is totally different. So she concludes that it’s ok to laugh at whatever you think is funny.
Second Mail: Maki Maki wants to know what brand the purple jacket from the Joshi Kashimashi Monogatari is. And how Reina stays in shape.
Reina gets all nostalgic, remembering the song talking about her yankii-ness. She is sorry to say that is wasn’t her own clothing, but it was selected by the staff so she really doesn’t know. But for keeping her figure, Reina says she doesn’t like sports and the only time she really moves around is at concerts so she focuses on her eating habits. She tries to reduce the amount of food she eats little by little.
Third Mail: Fukada Musume, Suki Suki Mikarin wants to know what happened to the mantis living in Reina’s entry way.
Reina proceeds to tell us that her brother’s friend removed it so it’s not there anymore and they don’t have to worry about it laying eggs or anything.
Fourth Mail: Russian wants to know how Reina deals with the cold of winter.
Reina is NOT a cold weather person and when it gets really cold, she’s like “heater+socks+coat” She also recommends hot baths and heater packs.
Five Stars Corner
Recently, Reina watched 6 movies in 3 days. (Channeling Miki-sama?

) The movies were “20th Century Boys”, “Paco and the Magic Book”, “Eagle Eye”, “Ironman”, “Detroit Metal City” and “Sex and the City”. Watching “Eagle Eye” makes Reina think that computers are really amazing. They make it so easy to do things, which also scares her a little. She started watching “Iron Man”, on the plane during this year’s fan club tour to Hawaii but only got about 40 minutes into it before falling asleep. But she thought it was really good and she really likes overseas (Hollywood) movies. Reina thinks “Sex and the City” is a chick flick and not something that guys should see. The middle part made her really sad because even though one of the women (Carrie Bradshaw, if anyone wants to know

) gets married at the end, she takes the long way around to get there. Reina’s mom doesn’t want her to go through that. She liked “Paco and the Magic Book” and “Detroit Metal City” because of the voices. She thinks the girl who plays Paco is really cute. When she first saw the commercial, Reina began to think that mixed race people are really cute, and she wishes she was mixed too. She also talks about two of the actors in the movies (Abe Sadao and Matsuyama Kenichi) that she thought were really great.
The five stars go to Reina’s satisfied heart. (For watching 6 movies in 3 days because she hasn’t had the chance to go the movie theater lately)
