She's been my favorite since I got into Hello! Project.

Here's to hopin' we see her soon... especially with the 10th anniversary stuff going on!

Please, somebody help me translate this newspaper article, I know it says something about Makochan studying in New Zealand and the recent earthquake that almost destroyed Makochan's hometown of Kashiwazaki in Niigata prefecture. Is it something about her thoughts of the earthquake? Was her family affected? Please, somebody better at japanese than me, help!!!
I'm not at home, so I don't have my dictionaries with me.....

Mako chan and her father was able to get in touch through internet phone as she's still studying abroad in New Zealand. She said she heard about the earthquake in New Zealand and was really worried... but now that she knows everyone's ok she feels relieved.

Thanks for the translation reyfer. When I read about an earthquake in Niigata, I was wondering if that was Mako's hometown. I'm glad her family's ok and everything.

I am glad to here that Makoto's family is okay. When I heard about the earthquake I thought of Makoto and her family and hoped they were okay.

Makoto needs more love. But with Mako studying hard there is little to talk about. Other than to reminisce on the past.

I watched that recently. I like getting to see her sing more than a couple of lines (for once *cough*) and it totally got me teary-eyed. Something about watching cute japanese girls getting weepy eyed make me get weepy eyed. Haha.

By the way, it's been almost a year hasn't it? Oh, just checked. It will be on the 27th.

Thank you SO much for sharing that!

This is quite wonderful! Ogawa was incredibly underused while in Morning Musume. I hope that when she comes back, she gets put in an amazing and SMALL unit that showcases her talent.

And I say unit because I don't want her to go solo and become forgotten about.

Maybe she can form a unit with someone or some of the 5th gen. I think she'll strive from competing and working with someone else. What I would like is if maybe she can have a show(whether, radio/tv/net video) where they perform but do other things too. What would really get me pumped is if she crashes into people's concerts like Okamura

I hate to say it but I cant see Mako being given a solo Career or a group

.Which is a shame because we all know that she has heaps of talent and is a very hard worker.
I guess we will never know UFA reasons for not giving Makoto a chance when she was in Morning Musume.

Of course UFa might change their mind when Mako comes back and decide to give Makoto a chance to shine in some shape or form. Which is of course what I hope for.
