There's a newspaper clipping on this site http://pmako.com/ and a video here . A fan got one boat race named in Mako's honour with a special message read.

Title of the race: Ogawa Makoto Commemoration of 20 years P-Mako Cup
Message: This is a race in honour of Ogawa Makoto-san's 20th birthday. We fans, wish for Mako-chan's smile to be able to continue on forever.　Let us all continue to do our best!

I thought that was really cool. The site owner said it's popular right now with Hello! Project fans to participate like this for their fav. member's birthday.

Yeah, they had a Sayumi Michishige Cup for Sayu's birthday in July, I think they had one for Gaki-san, and now Mako. GREAT!!!!

I've been reminiscing about Makoto through various blogs recently. Already there are tears from reading their own feelings about her last episode on Haromoni and her Ribbon no Kishi grad.

In her Haromoni special, I could really feel how much Mikitty and Rika gave 120% of their energy, in order to give Mako the best of memories. But Gaki-san, you were such a KY in the lock game! Boo!

Yossy, what can you say, insults Makoto several times, thoroughly enjoying herself each time.

Those 2 are either obvious, like the trial with the matching bracelets, or they show their feelings in a more roundabout way. Yossy pretending to not like Makoto or teasing her. Or they are touching but try not to make it obvious. Anyways, I thought this image was cute. Yossy putting her hand on Mako's back before Mako downs the nasty drink.

Ribbon no Kishi, final day: In the scene where Mako asks, "what's with that pose?" and Yocchan appears on stage and says "I was adjusting to the music", Yocchan threw a kiss to Makoto.

But it was cut in the DVD version.

I had no idea until reading from this person's first hand account of that scene. There was commotion amongst the audience as well as a "hyu~

" sound when that action occurred. I think if I read correctly, Mako was a bit stuck when Yossy did that.

The blogger was sooooo disappointed, well really angry and felt like crying, when watching the DVD and not seeing that scene. If you type キッス in your browser search bar, there are several entries about that.

I've come to make you an offer you can't refuse I'm not much of an H!P fan anymore, but I just wanted to post up my old Mako sigs. The Godfather one is still my favorite one that I made(Although it looks a little weird now). I don't know if anyone else liked it, but anyone can take it or ther others. You take it as is, change it, or even take the idea and remake it. Just please give a brotha some credit.

Makoto is one of my favorites too. Just way too underrated. :S But really, she's very pretty and quite hot. And probably the best dancer, whoa her dance moves are just amazing.

Besides she's the only one I'd let to have sex with Yossi besides me. And she sure is having sex with her. xDD

arun.yothin: The Godfather ones look really cool. In a sense, I do think she's one of those people that's a leader in the shadows. During the 5th gen audition when making food and Gorokkies okonomiyaki making, she's the one that took charge. She also included Koharu a lot during her grad episode. Doing the senpai thing even when it's your day, that's really thoughtful.

zf87: I don't think her fanclub events were ever put up. It's hard to tell since videos always get erased.

Miss Moonlight: whoa @ your super small font comments!

Dammit since the camera doesn't show her a lot, we probably miss a bunch of nice dance moves.

Too bad I don't know how to make gifs or else I would have many more dance highlights.

It has been on my mind for awhile but doesn't it look like Mako does Manpower hip thrust in a different way than everyone else? I'm using 2005 Koharu-chan Irasshai concert as reference. My eyes always zero in on her stomach when she does this since she snaps her body. I think some of the other members are kind of doing this but not as noticeable. This dance was really well done, from the perspective of a Mako fan.

^ That was when there was the earthquake in her hometown. Her family is ok. Makoto's dad connected her and said that they are ok.

Alright, Mako!

I first saw her in the Hey! Mirai! PV and thought she was cute. Then I saw Koko ni Iruzee and thought she was REALLY cute, so I decided to do a little research. I saw her on the H!M skits and she was by far the best and she soon became my favorite.

There was a little rumor about a maybe comeback, but I guess that's all it was. I really hope something comes about soon. It'd be nice to see her again.
