White people make white games... It's just normal?

I should plug in my LAN-cable and get the demo. Also, Faith is like the hottest video game character. Those polygons makes me go yummm.

^ There was an interesting article on Kotaku.com about how the character design of Faith is being redesigned for the Japanese audience. Apparently there's always complaints on Western developers making Asian female characters what a Western audience may consider as a beautiful Asian female, is different to how the Asian market would interpret it. For example, Faith as she'll appear to the West:

And what Faith might looks like, if she was developed by the East:

Both look fine to me. What do you guys think? Though don't know why it's important for ME, as it's all in first-person anyway XD

I see a movie in Faith's future. Maybe Lucy Liu?

I played the demo and I like it. I think of like Sonic the Hedgehog except you're an Asian chick lol. It's pretty good I like the music and the graphics are awesome.

Well the pictures are fan-designed art, not the official. The article even says "The language will be localized in Japanese, but not the character design." So the eastern fans will see the awesome edge logo (round the eye) and the rest of Faith as she was initially made, whether they like it or not.

Then of course, why would you care about that if the game rocks? They made Lara Crofts boobs smaller in the later TR games and I still played them without being upset about the set back in character physique, lol. XD

Some interesting fan art tho. Now let me get my ass home from work so I can actually try it. I just wanna now if my Sevdish boys did it or failed it.

^ Not just one.. But two (you'll understand what i'm talking about when playing the full game).

So yeah, i started playing last night and thus far my worries about the weak story have been proven wrong. Story wise i can't complain at this point. The only con in the game is the TONS of trial-and-error stuff. Then of course it's filled with save points so it won't piss you off like getting fucked in Ninja Gaiden did.

Also at times it's really unclear what you're supposed to do which is kind of annoying. You keep running around until you see that hole or that obstacle to pass, all this while blue's are trying to put you down.

But sure, thus far, this game fucking owns. And again.. Faith is hot. :jerk:

It seems kind of short and I get more and more frustrated over the massive amounts of moments where you have no clue what to do and you just keep dying over and over again. Thank god for quick load times.

Seems the whole fan-made reworking of Faith I posted earlier has only gone and brought out Japanese gamer's wrath

Again, I'm not too concerned how a game character looks, particularly when it's in a first-person perspective. I think the character design that DICE stuck with for the game is perfectly fine. She looks like one of those female game heroines like Alex from Half Life 2 where she doesn't need to have a ridiculously large chest or be exceptionally beautiful under ridiculous and unattainable standards to kick ass and long may it continue. Also it's a bit retarded to say that Western developers can'd design an Asian character. It's all down to perspective anyway.

I liked this game, almost finished it but my Xbox broke near the end (Three Rings of Death)
The one thing I didn't like about this game is the fact that sometimes it gets incredibly hard and other times incredibly easy.

Sometimes you have to fight enemies and your fighting mechanics are bad, and sometimes you have to run from enemies but some areas don't detect your movements that well.

But overall it's pretty fun!

Finished the game last week.

I NEVER EVER DIED so many times in a videogame and still kept on playing and had fun doing so!!! If there was an achievement/trophy for most deaths I would have it
The story was forgettable but the whole gaming experience was unique and I can't wait for the sequel.
