North Korea's communist government is urging women in the country to wear traditional Korean clothes instead of pants, according to a North Korean monthly magazine.

Well, not a surprising move considering their extreme attitudes against western influences.  Question is, when dealing with MODERN everyday life and work, are the traditional clothes as practical and affordable as "western" clothes such as pants?
