UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rika thrashed about as Dan’s grip on her became tighter. The fear and shame from what happened before had turned into anger and strength. The gunshots that she heard earlier told her that someone was there for her. Regardless of who it is, someone out there was fighting for her. And she should fight for herself.
Another gunshot broke the anxious whispers that were buzzing in the air. It was followed by a loud thump, and some shouting by male voices, presumably the goons. Rika wished to know what exactly was going on but the darkness wasn’t helping her at all.
She heard some loud footsteps-- people were running closer to the door. Then silence.
“Bagsak na si Boy!” Rika heard someone shouting.

Hitomi hid in the shadow of the elf-sized truck near-by. She quickly, but carefully, slid the handgun into back pocket of her pants as she held the M16A1 rifle. Due to the darkness, she couldn’t tell how many rounds were still on but it the weight told her that the gun still had enough for the goons outside.
She watched the goons gathering by the corpse of her assumed ringleader.
She waited. Just a little more…
She stepped out of the shadows, and fired away.
Four goons fell one by one.

The goons staying within the warehouse were sent to a panic by successive rapid fires. They heard bullets hitting steel, making sparks in the darkness. Some even hit the walls of the warehouse.
Dan dragged Rika behind some crates. Mayumi was cowering nearby. Even Baldo ducked in fear and ran to the other side of the warehouse.
The rain of bullets ended and silence ensued.
A goon was brave enough to get up from his hiding place. He held his P229 close as he approached the door. But before he crossed the threshold, the butt of a rifle crashed on his face. He fell to the ground quick.
Rika could only see a silhouette of a person holding a rifle kicking the unconscious goon. She was sure then who it was.

Hitomi stepped on the goon who dared to stop her.
He screamed in pain as he felt her foot on his leg. He could hear the bones in his leg cracking under her step.
Even with the light from the SUV, she could make out Rika struggling from Dan behind the crates. The SUV's occupants cowered in their seats.
She was about to run to their direction when a pair of goons blocked her path.
She couldn't understand their banter but that didn't matter. They were standing between her and Rika so they had to go.
One of them threw a punch that she easily evaded and quickly responded to with a jab to the face. He fell back, a bit dazed from the strength of the attack. Hitomi did make one fall but was too preoccupied to defend herself from the other one.
She felt his knuckles under her chin in an uppercut but she quickly recovered and hit him on the gut with her elbow.
He took steps back, wincing in pain, as Hitomi pulled out the magnum handgun from her pants and shot at them both, one at the leg, and the other on the shoulder.
She headed to her goal at seeing the two goons immobile. Dan aimed a small pistol at her, a .22 caliber, as his grip on Rika tightened.
Rika could feel the cold sweat on his palm. He was shaking. Rika could no longer see Mayumi. She must've hidden elsewhere.
Hitomi and Dan were aiming at each other, both waiting for the other to make a move.
Hitomi walked cautiously. She didn't know if there were anymore goons but this was her chance for vengeance. Shit, she can take Rika hostage!
Without further thought, she shot at his hand, the one that held the pistol. Dan, unable to get a grip of the weapon, involuntarily dropped it to the ground. Hitomi ran closer to where he stood.
The dedicated bullet
She aimed at his groin and fired a shot. Rika, as a reflex, closed her eyes. Dan's scream echoed on the walls of the warehouse.
Blood gushed from where his manhood was as he laid on the floor, begging for mercy.
She just looked at him. Hopefully, he'll just bleed to death on the cold concrete floor. She walked over to where Rika had fallen and untied her. The police would be on their way if Joseph did his part right.
It didn't matter who Rika chose. What mattered was that she was safe.
Rika clung to Hitomi as soon as she was freed from the rags.
"Let's go, Ka-chan... Let's go home." Hitomi took her hand and led her from behind the crates to the exit.
But to their surprise, there were four people standing in front of the door.
Baldo and three goons.
"Sa tingin 'nyo, hahayaan ko kayong makaalis dito?!" (You think I will let either of you get out of here?!)
Hitomi pulled Rika back behind her. "Ka-chan, hide."
Rika seemed to refuse.
"This will all be over soon... I promise... Just hide... I'll protect you." Hitomi pushed Rika back to where they had emerged as she ran head on to the men who were in the way.
She somehow managed to get to Baldo without making serious contact with any of the goons. She pointed the barrel of the handgun under his chin.
"If you want him to live, let her come here!" He shouted at them.
They didn't seem to understand but they were all immobile. Baldo seemed to give them orders that Hitomi didn't understand, to which they replied to with a nod.
Rika ran from the other side of the row of crates towards Hitomi. As soon as she was surely behind Hitomi, the two of them and their hostage slowly made their way out of the warehouse. All was well until a bullet pierced Hitomi's leg seemingly from nowhere.
Baldo laughed as his hostage taker fell.
"Durugin n'yo s'ya liban lang yung mukha 'nya. Kailangang ako ang sumira sa gwapo n'yang mukha."
(Crush him except his face. I'm the only one who can wreck that handsome face of his)
