UPDATE!!!!
On the elevator, Miki tugged Aya's sleeve. "You want to meet with Yocchan alone, right?"
Aya turned to her with a puzzled look. "Not really... you guys can--"
"leave you guys, alone, right? RIGHT?"
"Ah, yeah... alone." Aya poked Miki's side with her elbow.
Miki didn't say anything else, satisfied with Aya's concession.
"Mikitty, if you want to talk to Ayaka and me privately, you just have to tell us..." Mai said with a chuckle.
"Oh, no no no no... Aya and Yocchan HAVE to talk privately... just them two... so you and Ayaka will have to accommodate me."
"Whatever you said..."
~
Mai led the two to the president office. Aya and Miki walked side by side.
"Oi, Ms. Matsuura. Why don't you ever hold my hand when we're walking like this?"
"... ... I don't?... I think, except today... I do..."
"No you don't.."
"I do"
"You don't"
"You don't notice it but I DO"
"It's my hand we're talking about here, of course I would notice if you touched it... even more so, held it"
Aya grabs Miki's hand as the continued walking. "There. Happy?"
Miki just grinned that she just made Aya do something again.
President or not.
"Oi, little children. We are at an executive office, try to fit in." Mai said to them without turning to face them.
"Hai, sensei~" The two said playfully, like children in kindergarten. They swung their joined hands forward then back, and again.
"Miki, before we leave Yoshiko and Ayaya to themselves, say hi to Yoshiko first."
Miki just nodded as Mai pushed the doors open.
~
Miki slapped Hitomi's arm. "OI, WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO YOU?!"
"Just missed some meals..." Hitomi replied, nonchalantly.
"THAT IS NOT THE FACE OF A HUNGRY PERSON, EVEN A STARVING PERSON!!"
"Can you not shout in here?"
"Fine... If i can't shout in here, I'll shout elsewhere... Me, Ayaka and Mai will be leaving you and Aya alone now so you guys can talk privately..." Miki answered as she pulled Mai and Ayaka by their elbows.
Ayaka looked confused. She didn't know of the arrangement Mik--, no, AYA wanted. Mai just signalled to her to just go with the flow.
As soon as the doors closed, Hitomi turned to Aya. "What was THAT?"
"Beats me..." Aya shrugged.
"So... what do we have to talk about that is so private we have to talk alone?"
"Uh... We have something to talk about?"
"Isn't that what Miki just said?"
"I have no idea..."
The two just stared at each other, both confused.
"Ayaya, you have one strange woman with you. Be careful!"
The two burst into laughter. A nice contrast to the tense environment in this very same office earlier.
~
"What was THAT about, Miki?" Mai asked as she closed her office door.
"I wanted to talk to the two of you first before doing anything else."
"What about?"
"I saw Ishikawa at the airport today."
