Hitomi carefully set her violin back on its stand beside the piano. She didn't bother to wipe the sweat from the chin-rest and under the viol's body.

Mmmmmmmmmmm...Yossi sweat.

* JFC dodges flying bricks.

Aya watched from where she stood, surprisingly bothered by the silence that followed the performance. "Hm..." she started, trying to fill the air with sound. "You're going to make a deal with your father..."

"That is what I'm thinking..." Hitomi said as she sat on the floor. "But mama would probably smack me on the head if she heard that" She laughed as she leaned against the leg of the baby grand closest to her.

"Well, she did entrust the company to you... and a deal with your father would surely entail giving him full control again..."

Sunnovabitch, so THAT's been his plan? To use Rika like a bartering chip, since he was one of the few who could tell Yossi where she was, and trading that knowledge for control of the company!?!

*PHONE CALL*

Hmmmm...calling a former member of The Eyes? It was mentioned that the current crew is "the new" one, which could mean that this person being called is/was a former member.

I say it's Mari...based on the "little dynamite" reference at the start of the phone convo.

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shark and Mars sifted through immigration papers for hours. They watched and watched and watched some more all the security videos of all gates in all terminals within the time period they most suspected Rika to have left.

They saw all there was to see, including their boss' partners in business, the Great Aya and Miki. But definitely, no sign of Rika.

Shark was certain the landlord said that Rika was going to the airport and was leaving the apartment for good.

Unless she had much money at hand (which she really didn't) there were no other airports she could've gone to.

Mars read her notes aloud "Rika left early that day, according to the landlord, around 7 a.m. The apartment wasn't too far from the airport, even accounting for the traffic, it couldn't have taken her an hour to get there in a taxi.

Passengers have to be at the airport at least 3 hours before the flight.

Given that, the flight must have been scheduled to leave, probably at 11 or maybe, noon...

There was this one flight to Tokyo... but no sign of Rika on the videos. She couldn't have strategically walked on places where the videos won't capture her... right?" Mars asked her partner.

"What do you think happened?"

"I don't know... WAIT! Have you talked to the Way? We might have not seen her leave... but she might have made it there!"

"Negative. That Jin... is also looking for her. I'm sure that means he's lost Ishikawa too."

"He's looking for her...?" Mars murmured while in deep thought.

"HEY! HOW'D YOU FIND THAT OUT?!"

"I got his cellphone bugged, you know?"

"No, I didn't."

"I get my updates fresh from the horse's mouth"

"Isn't that 'straight from the horse's mouth'?"

"yeah, whatever..."

Shark leaned back on her chair with a smirk on her face. "What matters is that she isn't in Japan... "

"What if she's in a totally different country?!?!"

Rika awoke the next day to the sound of silverware clashing downstairs.

She wasn't used to the sound waking her up as she usually did the cooking, the past few months.

As she stood, she looked around the small room that accommodated her. It had an 'old' feeling, even though the house looks relatively new. It was warm and cozy even though the owner told her no one's really lived there for long since it was built.

In she went to the small bathroom that cutely matched the bedroom it was attached to.

She found the designer shower curtains cute and fitting. The bathroom was nowhere near the size of the one where she lived just before this great fiasco but it was functional. It was good enough.

As she washed her face, the old lady who welcomed her last night knocked on the bedroom door. "Breakfast time."

Rika answered with a simple "Opo" as she wiped her face dry on a small towel.

"Here's a brand new day~."

Thanks a bunch for the update, though I'm still reading your fic. I'd say I'm about... hmmm.. well up to page 137 of the 344 that I copied.. 40% of the story so far...
I stayed up 'til about 4am last night to read xD I'm a bit of a slow reader... I tend to savour everything that happens, hhaaaa... and even though I was supposed to be studying for my exam (should be studying right NOW as well!), I just couldn't help but read.

Even though I have much of the story to go, so far it has completely captivated me. I LOVE your portrayal of Rika and Yossie. Rika as the sweet, gentle (and so so innocent) kind of girl who everybody loves and wants to protect... and Yossie as the strong-willed and dashing young 'man' who commands respect and admiration. They've had difficult pasts, but together they're trying to build a better future. Simply a perfect match <3 There have been countless sweet IshiYoshi moments that just made me melt into goo, or fangirl squeal like crazy...

Must also give kudos to the ever entertaining Ayaka, Mai and Ayumi, all who have done so much to support IshiYoshi  I had plenty of laughs because of them.

Random thoughts:

- As much as I like Rika talking and was anticipating it whole-heartedly, I actually adored it when Rika couldn't speak.. it made her seem all the more vulnerable. The cards that she held up were sooo cute!! 
- One of the cutest things I can't get out of my head was when Yossie didn't want to wash away Rika's scent on her... so she stole Rika's soap. IS THAT CUTE OR IS THAT CUTE?!?!!??!?! 
- The shopping scene, that sexy chicken question, and all the Rika pouting = sugar overload *dies*
- Yossie peeking at Rika showering is SOOOOO naughty, but I was like  the whole way through. Yossie witnessing the Rikass was a defining moment in your story. I just didn't expect her to do that...  but yeah. o.o hawwwwtttt.
- Yossie's jealous protectiveness is  When it led to the hand on Rika's ass thing on the bus...  ohhhh yeeeaahhhh.
- I hate Jin with a passion. That man is a SERIOUS FART IN THE ARSE. How he gave birth to somebody as awesome as Yossie is beyond me (all the good genes must've come from mama).
- Still so many things I want to know... hopefully will be revealed as I read on (after this, I'll have to study... I'll catch more in a couple of days perhaps!). What really happened to Rika? And what else happened between Yossie and her dad that makes her hate him so?
- I'm pretty sure you're going to give them plenty of angst to sit through soon.. coz so far, they've always been with each other. I sense some problems coming up that will lead them to being separated, and though I will be sad, I'll have you know that I love angst (besides the horrible Meteor Garden II kind of angst).
- I have the feeling that Tru has done business studies or something. You seem to know about the workings between businesses and stuff.. which I'm a total noob at. I had to reread bits to understand what was going on. I really like how you developed the drama and suspense of it all, though! Great job

ISHIYOSHI ROX MY SOX!!!

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The small hall where the upstairs bedrooms converged had a stuffy feel to it last night but this morning, perhaps thanks to the opening of the doors to the veranda, it had a soft breeze circulating inside and Rika liked it.

Se decided to go out and meet the fresh morning air outside on the veranda. It overlooked the tiled driveway, tool shed and garden. She could see the other house just a few meters away, separated from the one she was in by a tall water tower.

A thin film of dew covered the balustrades and it cooled everything up. The new day felt new. And it was time for a breakfast a non-Japanese person cooked.

Rika quickly went down the stairs, not to keep the food waiting for too long.

Hitomi and Aya stared at the ceiling as they laid on the carpeted floor.

"Yocchan... You know you have to talk to Ken about this, right?"
 
            "Yeah... this is his company we're talking about..."

"But he doesn't want to run the company..."

            "Despite that, I know he would rather take the position himself than see Jin in charge."

"You brainwashed him pretty good."

            "I didn't brainwash him... It doesn't take much to see what up with that old man"

"But dealing with him... Are you sure about that?"

            "He shows me where Rika is... I'll step down... Whether it's him or Ken taking charge, they can settle that... I guess... After       all, To-san still thinks he can appeal to Ken..."

"What you do plan to do? Make Ken lie to him? Like trick him?"

            "I don't know, Aya... I guess I really have to talk to my brother"

I read this faster than I've read anything in a long time (still trying to finish Twilight... it's been more than half a year since I started xD Oh GOD, want to stab myself every time Bella talks about Edward's eyes or his muscles or his crooked smile or his unnerving perfection.. T__T WE UNDERSTAND ALREADY, HE'S HOT!!!!  ). Runaway from the Past FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gosh, you had me so giddy during many of their interactions... 

Ahhh.. since my last post here, there have been so many epic IshiYoshi moments, I just can't count them all... you really squeezed as much IshiYoshi love in there as you could, didn't you Tru.. until you had to break them up after the fart in the arse Jin drove Rika away. >.<
But mind you, I love the angst... it isn't hardcore yet because it seems all Rika and Yossie are thinking about is how they make each other miserable. Though it seems now Yossie has regained some sense, and has decided she's going to give up the company to find Rika and be with her...    !!!!!!
But I sure hope Ken will be up to the task of being company president... coz there's no way in hell that Jin will get control over the company!!!!!!

Remarks:::
- I love Ayumi, Mai and Ayaka  They're so funny to read and Yossie/Rika surely couldn't have asked for better friends. If it weren't for them, IshiYoshi would've been doomed a long time ago... the rivalry between Mai and Ayaka is really cute too... I guess, nobody can really resist Yossie's charms, ne??? She's soooo hot in your story... I'm in love!!! 
- IshiYoshi steamy-hotness-scale really took off *fans self* wowww... some moments here were HELL sexy...  Naughty Rika is 
- BURNT TOAST ROX! 
- Rika soaked in rain after running to company building to give Yossie dinner = awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
- When Jin slapped Rika...    WTF!!!! I wish Yossie's kicking and punching affected him more... you could have at least made him cringe or groan in pain or something, Tru... he just laughed or got up, seemingly OK every time Yossie drove him to the ground with her awesome martial arts... lol, I was a bit frustrated about that!!!! Urggghhh, anything to see Jin in pain!!!
- Couldn't stop reading the moment Rika was kidnapped... like, eyes glued to screen for how many pages... all the action and suspense.. phoar... good job with that!!  Yossie is just  so cool, she might as well be an action hero in a movie, ne? Too cool for school  Was really looking forward to seeing Rika and Yossie unite after the rescue-the-damsel-in-distress business... but perfect timing, Jin *shakes fists at him*

Anyways, now that we know Rika has managed to somehow evade Jin's radar... things are really looking interesting. Can't wait to find out what happens next!!!!

"Ken..." Hitomi spoke softly but firmly. "I hope you understand why I ask this of you."

"I understand... but... do you really trust me to hold this company together?" He looked at his sister's face on the monitor, searching for the answer there. "Or is this just a contingency to you?"

"Ken. This is your company."

"That's true. But are you handing me the responsibility because you believe that I am ready?... ... Don't answer that. The better question is, are you really ready to let the company go? I know you don't care about your own welfare but do really believe anyone can do the job better than you? or at least as good as you?"

Hitomi kept silent.

"You watched this company grow with the same love and care you did with me and Seito. Can you let all that go completely... for her?"

Silence remained where it was.

"You know the moment it leaves your hands, it can easily fall back into our father's."

"Will you let that happen?"

"I can. Can't I? Not that I want to, but don't discount the possibility, don't trust so easily... Isn't that what you always used to say?" He spun his chair around to look up at the painting behind him, his sister's artwork.

"But you're not just anyone... you're my brother"

Ken, kept his back turned and answered coldly, like the person on the other line was a stranger. "In the same line of reasoning, our father is our father..."

"Ken."

"What if she's on his side now?"

"She isn't." Hitomi answered just as coldly now, as he did.

"You don't know, do you?"

Hitomi didn't reply for a long while and silence hung between them like a delicate ball of glass that breaks with a crash after its fall.

"No. I do." Hitomi answered, looking down at the ring on her hand. "I've always known. Like how I know my brother would take care of the company."

Ken didn't respond. Didn't move.

"I'll be home soon. I will see you then."

"WHERE THE HELL IS THIRD?!?!?!?!" Shark yelled as she sorted the papers in their makeshift office.

"She doesn't stick around with us..." Mars nonchalantly replied.

"OF COURSE I KNOW THAT!"

"If you have any complaints about her, why don't you talk to the Captain about it... After all she did say Third can act alone"

"I don't think that would help us... ... ... ... AFTER TWO UNSOLVED CASES! Where the hell do these people hide?!"

Mars covered her ears, slightly irritated with her partner. "You know you don't need to shout... Just do your work... The Captain doesn't get mad when we mess up anyway... She know we do our best..."

"You know that's not the problem..."

"Well, what is?"

"She trusts us to do these things..."

"She doesn't trust us any less even when we mess up."

The Shark just raised her hands in surrender "... You wouldn't understand."

Jin looked at his watch for the 100th time. Impatient, he walked around the lobby as he waited.

After a few minutes, one of his men approached him. "He's here, sir." The goon whispered.

"Okay, bring him in."

Jin turned his sights to the door where a lanky office clerk entered.

"Mr. Yoshizawa?" He timidly greeted. "Good afternoon"

"Good afternoon. Please, have a seat." Jin motioned to the clerk to a comfortable armchair as he sat himself on another one. "What do you have for me."

"It seems that Ms. Ishikawa gave up her seat to some chance passengers. And therefore did not board the plane."

What's that monster Jin going to do if he ever gets his hands on Rika? Under what circumstance will Rika and Yossie see each other again? o.o I sooooo wanna find out!!!!
