That's also true. If members of the restaurant staff are not handling the food in a proper, sanitary way, then it won't make much of a difference whether the customers cook it properly at the table or not.

Two days ago, tokyohive reported that 16 high school students got food poisoning from eating at former Morning Musume’s Fujimoto Miki-produced restaurant Yakiniku Miki-tei. Regarding this recent trouble, Fujimoto Miki published an apology statement on her official blog.

This post, posted on the morning of June 9th, stated, “I pray from my heart that those customers will get better even one day faster. Also, we apologize for the inconvenience and concern to our other customers. We sincerely apologize for this matter,” and made a public apology on her blog.

Furthermore, although Fujimoto is labeled as the “producer” for this restaurant chain on their homepage, Fujimoto explained her relationship with the restaurant, saying, “I am the image character for this chain as assigned through my agency.” In addition, she explains that she does not participate in the management of this restaurant and said, “I feel bad that a restaurant with my name has caused this kind of incident. I feel bad for what had happened,” and revealed her thoughts about this incident.

It is good that she did so even if she wasn't the one to be near the food but in such cases, it may ruin a short-term image but in the long-run it is always great to prevent such things from happening again

Fujimoto Miki holds a talk show event for her latest book

On October 3rd, talento Fujimoto Miki held a talk show to commemorate the publishing of her latest book, ‘Fujimoto Miki: First Mama Book‘.

During the event, Fujimoto reflected on her pregnancy period, and expressed, “I was always uneasy.” She explained, “Of course I was uneasy about labor pains, but I also thought about what it would be like to become a parent,” and revealed, “There were a lot of things I couldn’t tell anyone.”

She also shared that her husband, comedian Shoji Tomoharu, has always given full support since the pregnancy. “When I was discharged from the hospital, he gave me a book called ‘Mikkitter’. From my pregnancy period to the time I gave birth, my husband jotted down his feelings for me through a memo function on his cell phone. He turned that into one book.”

Fujimoto also revealed her secret to losing 14 kg (30.8 lbs), “I lost weight by breastfeeding to a certain extent. Once I stopped losing weight, I did yoga everyday.” She then showed how to reduce swelling in the leg by putting a towel between her calves and thighs.

‘Fujimoto Miki: First Mama Book’ is a collection of Fujimoto’s essays that were serialized in women’s magazine, ‘saita‘. It’s now on sale for 1,500 yen (approximately $19 USD).

According to recent blogpost by Mikitty, it seems that she's now involved in endorsing/co-producing a lingerie(?) line.
Seeing the pics of the lingerie, I have to say I'm a bit disappointed.
I mean, coming from Mikitty's head, I thought it would be more, err, daring.
Didn't she think that she could put them on Ayaya?

I haven't seen this video in this thread, so I think might as well share it.

Watch it until the end to see Miki-sama's bare face.
I kinda think she looks somewhat like a younger version of herself, but it's just probably me.
I know I wouldn't complain to see that face everyday when I wake up. Lucky Shouji.

She might want to be careful; that one pic in that post of her holding the nightie over Toranosuke might come back to haunt him as he grows up.
