My 360 died yesterday

No RROD, but I get an E74 error message when I switch it on. I've read online that it's a power supply issue, in particular with the AV cable and should try a new one first before thinking of repairing it. But can I find AV cables anywhere, nooooooo of course not.

Shame, I so enjoyed playing Left 4 Dead yesterday

Maybe try to get one off a friend's 360. They won't mind playing one less day if it could help a fellow gamer.

Well despite going through trials to get my hands on one, it turns out the AV cable wasn't the problem. And I wasn't willing to deal with the notoriously bad Microsoft support service or wait a month for it to come back to me, so I forked out the cash for an Arcade console yesterday and I'm back to my good ol self.

Left 4 Dead is just so much fun, so many great stand out moments. My favourite thus far was waiting in this large room for a tank to come from upstairs, shotguns, assault rifles and molotov's all ready and willing until I notice behind me, the tank busted through the floor

Felt like being in a real horror movie lol

L4D is excellent, even though I'm not the best at FPS. All my friends play on Steam so I've only got it on PC.
I couldn't say no after I had it gifted in this way:

I'm debating whether or not if I should be getting any new games. Street Fighter IV is a bit tempting...but I haven't played figthing games in ages though. /suck

^Ooh yes, I was watching my friends play the RE5 demo on PS3. I'll be grabbing a copy of that myself hopefully. The split screen is kind funky.
SC4! My friends were going at it forever. 200% health, 5 of 9 games...over and over and over again. Unfortunately all I've been doing on my 360 lately is drum away on RB2 and be a Netflix whore.

Man, just played the demo of Tom Clancy's HAWX, and that game got a lot going on.
I mean, I like combat flight sim type of games, but the one I'm more used to is the Ace Combat games.
With HAWX, you gotta really be in to win it... whew, so much going on when in combat.
I won't lie, though, its definitely fun, but... whoa.

It's a recently created site that provides appropriately sized wallpapers for you to use as the background for your 360, free of charge. All it takes is a matter of saving the image to a USB pen drive, slotting it in your 360 and setting the background through the 'My Pictures' menu when you run the 360. As I said, it's recently started so there's not many wallpapers to choose from, but you're free to request one for others to create, even going so far as to provide the picture for them or even contribute to the site by sending your own if you're up for it.

It's all good and fun to have your own wallpapers, but isn't that silver sphere on the bottom always gonna be blocking like half of it? Not to mention those terrible stock friends list backgrounds,

You can play on one 360 but screen estate is reduced by a lot.

^ That and system link. I never tried the warez version so I don't know if you can jump in and out of co-op games. I'll prolly try it out today. See if the AI takes over if you skip out of a co-op game.

Verdict so far? I think I will get it but not sure if I should maybe hold back and finish a few games first.
