Tuffty and everyone else who cares: The split-screen Co-op works great if you have a big screen like I do. Jumping out and in can't be done from what I noticed. Once your friend is in you gotta quit to go on with the AI or over live. It's still a great feature imo. Going through some pre played levels with whomever you want, getting some more of that precious ammo and stuff.

As for the game. I fucking love it. I love it so much I don't want finish it lol. Thus I've kinda played the first chapter over and over again, instead of progressing. I need to get going tho. I can just play it through again once I'm done.

Yeh 1-1's great for that Civilian Checkpoint set piece alone. Currently on 3-2 at the minute and loving the game so far. Beautiful to look at, some really creepy enemies and haters be damned, the control system and Sheva's AI works just fine thank you very much. I'm playing it without co-op for my first run through, I know I'd rather take my time with the game first, walk rather than run and explore every little nook and cranny for any secrets whereas my co-op partners probably don't feel the same way. Only when I'm finished will I go back, play it with friends, higher difficulty settings, aim for S grades, upgrade weapons, get all medals/figures etc. And I know I'm gonna because RE5 seems perfectly suitable to just go back and play through again and again.

I just tried out the GH: Metallica demo. It was ok, I didn't like it that much. I was a bit disapointed because I felt like playing with the controller first, but it looks like that don't have that option anymore.

I can't believe I let RE5 sit unwrapped on my desk for a week. I always had my 360 hooked up to PC's 22" monitor, but I moved it out a few days ago since RE5 is MUCH better on a 37" lol. Especially with the split screen.

My friend and I just finished our first run and we're on 3-1. (3AM and I got work in the morning ;_;) Spent a lot of time on 1-1, not because it's SUPER fun, but because we were getting raped while trying to figure out the controls.

Really loving the game right now. Gonna try to finish the game before my friend leaves at the end of the week. The one shot kills we had on us were hilarious. A lot of ".........LOL" reactions. Yay for Surprise!Cinematics.

930/1000 already on RE5. Now to beat the game on professional. 1 hit kills FTL.

Sev+others who like to replay levels, have you tried speed running them? Try getting under the elusive 12 min mark on chapter 1 on amateur. My best speed run so far is chapter 4 on veteran. Rank 200ish. Top 1% or so last I calculated though I know my friend and I can cut at least 30 sec off our time.

Splinter Cell Conviction, is anyone playing it ? ( It didn't feel like opening a new thread when it seem no many are playing it)
I'm playing it on PC but since its a big 360 release I though about posting here.

So far I'm really enjoying the game. It's much more fast paced than the previous ones and much more story driven, so I'm liking it more. The sad thing is that it feel like a watered down Batman Arkham Asylum, since in Batman both the action and stealth seems better to me.

Unlike the other SC games, this one doesn't allow you to save every 2 seconds, it uses checkpoints but it's also much easier, so it's not frustrating, actually it's a lot more fun.

But I'll share my quick story with it, my PC kept overheating playing this game today and since I can't SAVE, only checkpoint save, I had to run like a beast heheh.
But so far so good, the bad part comes next, I decided to clean my PC coolers and all (like I did many times before), but this time when removing it, the processor came together and at that exact moment I though: "Okay, it's fucked".

I kept cleaning it and hoping to have everything work out later. Long story short, I had to keep putting the processor in many times, while the PC made all sorts of sounds and was not booting up. All I could thing was how much a new processor should cost...

And then in my last try for the day, it worked ! Flawlessly !

Man, next computer I have I'd like nintendo to make it hehe, at least it wouldn't overheat like anything else these days.

Oh, and moving on, anybody interested inAlan Wake ? I saw the developer's walkthrough in gametrailers, and it looks really good!

I already went ahead and pre-order Alan Wake at Gamestop. The game play looks very interesting fighting with mostly light. The reviews are rolling in and giving the game a high score for the most part. I think they already announce two DLC for the game, first one coming out in June. The only thing I am worried about is the game being too short. I can't take another game being short (I'm looking at you Dante's Inferno).

Gah, I'm so mad right now, I have 4 days off work and wanted to play some and now my controller has died on me!

I have a cable controller (original 360 M$), it has been acting up lately, not functioning from time to time, but now it seems it officially gave up.
But what is strange is that now all 4 LED's of the controller ring are blinking, even when the console is turned off.
For the wireless controller it would mean to refresh batteries, but I couldn't find any info on what it means for a calbe controller.
Any ideas?
