Today, the first half of yearly “Risu no Hi” special, but nothing special is gonna happen apparently. Sanma talks about his upcoming Australia trip and how he is not watching New Year’s shows at all as he is in Australia every year at this time. A talk about MM activities on the verge of 2005/2006 next.. As mentioned in previous ep, they’re gonna be busy with rehearsals for the live on 31.12, and on 2.1 they have costume rehearsals and the concert itself. They’ll probably get a day free between these two lives, but it’s not clear yet (so busy
). Anyway, their families will come to visit them in Tokyo at the New Year’s Eve. The talk continues with Sanma’s elegies about a girl who left him lately (
). Looks like it was because he is supposed to go to Australia on 26th, and not wanting to spend Xmas with the girl (
).
Zenryaku no Corner

First letter is of course about next year’s MM musical Ribon no Kishi (I thought about sending this question too, but it was clear that somebody will do it for me
) So basical facts: scenario and production will be managed by Takarazuka staff, and some Takarazuka actors will appear in the play itself as well. As for MM and Biyuden, they had to go through normal audition to apply for the roles. They had to say Romeo&Juliet lines (famous balcony thing as well
), their vocal range was measured and they also had to sing “Furusato” in front of Takarazuka producer and many staff people. Aichan was nervous (I bet MM girls already forgot how it is doing auditions
). Looks like results and role-division is not known yet. Sanma thinks Aichan would fit for the Sapphire role both visually and skill-wise. His tips are her or Rika. She’d like to try some villain role (
). On the contrary, Miki has no chance, because she is too boyish and doesn’t fit the image. She herself thinks she could play witch (what a self-consciousness
) Shouji’s recommend the horse role for her (:DDD).
Second letter is about Sanma’s VTR appearance in Moriyama Ryoko’s live show(?). Third is about Miki complaining about the width of her forehead in some other show (Dokimiki maybe?), so listener wants her to measure the size. Sanma tells Aichan to measure Miki’s, and then he realize Aichan’s is really wide as well, so he make her to measure it too. Aichan got really angry, childish, screamed and refused for very long (like a kid at dentist’s
) – this part is the highlight of tonight’s show (:DDD). Sanma’s forehead is 5cm, Miki’s is 6.5 and Aichan’s is the widest – 7cm (measuring from upper tip of eyebrows to the place where hair starts to grow – you can try this at home safely
). Measured also Aichan’s chin (6cm), and Sanma said she could turn her head upside down, as those sizes are almost the same (she has her nose right in the middle of the face, what is quite rare
). Then they all start to comfort Aichan that her forehead is cute and she can wear wigs (like in upcoming dorama). Miki says she looks cute as usual. Sanma makes Aichan to show him her forehead again, and she gets angry, because all are laughing at her (she doesn’t have eyebrows painted). Miki says angry Aichan is cute (
). Sanma compares her to Cornheads (aliens from some movie – I remember that
).
Last letter is a listener stating that after Aichan got her I-pod from Sanma, there is no other weapon left for her to survive next year’s Yantan remodeling (new regulars are chosen every year, for those who don’t know). So she should ask him for Xmas present ASAP, so that she will stay on the show longer (good idea
). Miki starts to ask for presents from Australia, and Sanma promises her a wallet made from kangaroo testicles (:DDD).
Young Boke Kouza ft. Shouji no Corner
“Ka-ku-shi-a-ji” – Aichan looks like lost in this one, probably still thinking about that forehead thing (this might result in trauma T_T).
“O-ka-ne-mo-chi” – this time Miki has problems. Aichan had just one try, and all had a good laugh at Shouji getting angry and Sanma having his usual preaching (today in quite free mood). Shouji made girls pay him 2000 yen each if they fail in the next one.
“To-u-ki-yo-u” – they failed and had to pay dinner for Shouji (
).

“Sawatte mitai?” (Miki) [Wanna try to touch?] – not good. Shouji asks girls if they really don’t watch AV, and Miki says SHE WOULD LIKE TO, BUT SHE HAS NO OPPORTUNITY TO DO SO(:OOOOOO).
“Yarashindaa” (Ai) [That’s dirty!] – on the fourth try, she did good using Fukui accent. Sanma thinks she might’ve grasped it yet (
).
“Mou genkai!” (Miki) [I can’t anymore!] – Miki has some hidden talent apparently(
). She did good.
“Ugoicha dame!” (Ai) [Don’t move!] – she didn’t get it good, because she was trying to say it very cute. But I just noticed Sanma is paying much attention to her, trying to teach her the gist (either he really likes her, or he thinks her pitiable
).
Karaoke-box Sanchama
Yes, Aichan performance again! She is singing Mikawa Kenichi’s big hit “Sasoriza no Onna”. She can do his impersonation too. The title is “Dakodako na Onna”. Very nice song and Aichan did a great job, although she forgot the lyrics for a moment (
). “Dakodako” talk continues. Aichan doesn’t remember her own lyrics. (
). No one understand what she means by dakodako, even now. Aichan can’t eat soy sauce (which is something very UNUSUAL for Japanese
), and not even oranges (wtf
).
