Ok , the story is , this is a french guy (Marc Maggiori) who got financed by France2 (the equivalent of canada's CBC or CTV and america's ABC)
to produce an animation movie ..

Wow, just wow... Mere coincedences? I think not. o_o This guy knew what he was copying.

Nice. All of those aren't so obvious plagiarism though... Dark character with glowing red eyes and gun isn't Jin-Roh's copyright. Those backgrounds are more shocking though.

[quibble]This surely must be wrong.

I'm assuming that France2 is a public broadcaster like the CBC or BBC or PBS.

CTV is a division of Bell Globemedia, a private company, and ABC is owned by Disney - definately not a government broadcaster.[/quibble]

But yeah, the backgrounds are pretty blantant.

It's all too much of a coincidence to BE a coincidence. Unless the guy has been cut off from all media for the last decade or two, it's obvious he must have known what he was doing.
